Goldberg firing reason

They have to come to me now. - "iron" Mike Goldberg

That was intentional. The UFC modeled their broadcasting team after the WWE's team. 1 educated guy, 1 funny incompetent color guy.
That's always been my theory. I think he plays stupid to make rogan seem a lot more intelligent than he really is.

I will miss Goldie for sure

Just won't be the same without him he is fucking hilarious as well to be fair

So stupid as to...?
Don't leave it hanging
Ratner was saying that the knees that Means landed were legal because there were no hands on the ground, so with two points of contact (1 foot and1 knee) he (Cowboy) wasn't a grounded opponent.

At the time, I was thinking "Really? I've been wrong all this time. I thought one knee was the same as grounded. I'm an idiot"
Then Rogan piled on because he didn't fucking know either. Come to find out, nobody ring side but the refs read the God Damn rules!

"He dropped him with a body kick!" Goldie

"Uh.... no that was a kick to his head!" Rogan

Or something to that effect

Reminds me of (unrelated fight) when (different fighter with a somewhat similar style) did (something mildly reminiscent)... *action having long since made the comparison irrelevant*

I really hope Goldie lands on his feet, there's other gigs out there, hopefully he'll be alright.

Not to campare, but does anyone remember Jimmy Snyder?
