Going up in weight

I'd say BJ, Rumble and Hendo are the first names that come to mind.

Benson's welterweight debut was quite impressive. Too early to gauge how he'll do at the weight class however (assuming he even remains at 170).

What fighter has had the most success at going up in weight?

Penn won a belt, Silva demolished LHW, what fighter went up in weight and had the most success?

Well Anderson was the P4P number one WW. He went up and won the MW belt. He then went up and trashed the former LHW champion.

He's actually beaten the UFC Champ at WW, MW & LHW.

Matt Serra is up there too, with his win over GSP.

Anderson didn't come up from welter he came down from lightheavy

I get the joke but even that's incorrect. He wasn't walking around as a LHW early in his career.

Against Cameos in his first ever fight [Bare knuckle] he weighed in under the 176lb limit for the tournament so he was actually walking around at around 174lb. he probably could have come close to cutting to LW.

Anderson 'LHW' Silva
