GOAT Jones has nothing to prove

I mean, he could prove that his HW title is actually legitimate by defending it against an active HW. But he's also proven a lot at LHW and MMA as a whole, so if he wants to walk with that in his back pocket, he's free to leave

Nothing to prove in terms of his capabilities as a martial artist? Certainly, he’s a well established generational top fighter at this point.

Nothing to prove in terms of the heavyweight division? Certainly not, one legit win and one highly questionable one. A win over Aspinall erases a significant amount of that doubt though.

Jones = The GOAT Period.

Whether he wins or loses against Aspinall doesn't change that.

A worst-case scenario is he loses against Aspinall ... and, depending on "how" it happened, it really wouldn't affect his legacy.

Quite frankly, despite all the people who said Jones look bad; I thought Jones looked better than he's looked eight years.

A highly-calculated sniper, with a multi-faceted attack.

Despite Stipe disappointing me, and succumbing to Father Time, that doesn't change the fact that Jones put on an absolute Master Class, showing clear coaching genius behind the scenes, as well as his own genius in executing a custom-tailored plan specifically to beat Stipe Miocic.

I don't think Tom Aspinall has anything like the overall acumen + knowledge in his corner, nor do I believe Aspinall anywhere near the real-world experience in the field.

More than this, despite Aspinall's physical gifts + youth, I believe Jones' "age and treachery" would ultimately overcome Aspinall's "youth and skill" if they meet.

Bottom line: I also don't think Tom Aspinall has the mental grit, or toughness, of John Jones.

Jones = Evil. Losing is not an option.

Aspinall has already lost, rolled around and screamed, etc. It's okay with Tom, if something hurts too much.
Don't think it would ever be okay with Jones.

As such, if it became a dogfight, a war of attrition + will, the bottom line is Jon Jones has never quit, screamed, rolled around, or lost.

Tom Aspinall is already used to that.

I would favor Jon Jones, actually, if they meet.

As much as I dislike Jon as a person and think he's a steroid abuser, he won fair and square against Stipe. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

You sound like a 12 year old pro wrestling fan no offense

Definitely no goat you can't be when you are a 2 time cheat and get gifted decisions then instead of facing the true number 1 contender in Tom you settle for 42 yo that hasn't seen competition in 3 years, guy is a hack and always has been.
