No. This would be a bad idea. I am definitely on board with the Youtube route for Nate. I like the Diaz bros, even if I don't care for all the thug stuff. It seems like Nate is angling for one fight contracts with promotions that offer the highest reward and lowest risk, which this would not be.

If he fights Jake, he could easily come right back to the UFC for the third Conor fight, on a one fight contract. That is what I think he has planned. If something else lucrative pops up, I could see him doing it. I don't even really see him doing too much boxing. I don't think he has the speed, etc.
 
Jake Paul is going to lay the 'woodley' on both Diaz brothers. Will be fun to watch.
But I would rather see Nate Diaz humble McConor again.

I know it has by far the most deaths. But is it the highest death rate? Boxing has significantly more competitors than any other combat sport
 
They can't afford him, and it would be the worst idea for him outside of...wrestlinf competitions
 
Nate would get knocked out very badly in every kickboxing bout. Not a smart choice at all.

But I can't stand his gangsters gimmicks so I hope that he'll accept Glory's offer.
 
He is near the end of his career and should go to whatever pays him the most money, but I severely doubt that is kickboxing. Even world champion Kickboxers don't make a lot.

Wild the dude been in MMA so long and still can not defend leg kicks. Every fight it's the same thing. Muay Thai or kick boxing it would be painful to watch.

Just give him a Paul brother, KSI, Deji someone like that and be done with it. Nate has always just been a BJJ dude that learned to box - kicking is a foreign art to him.

He actually has shown the ability to check kicks, he did it against Johnson in the second round which turned the fight around and he injured Pettis by checking kicks. I don't know why he doesn't do it all the time.

EDIT: by saying I don't know why he doesn't do it all the time, I don't know mean why doesn't he check every kick anyone throws but why does he have some fights where he just seems to intentionally allow easy to defend leg kicks to land with no attempt at defense.

Jake is too big for Nate. Taller and much more powerful. Jake will choose the rounds etc. and will not gas vs Nate.

Would be fun to see Nate box smaller/worse guys who he can get to work on.
 
I doubt Nate has any plans of going to kickboxing, he just doesn't seem to enjoy the kicking aspect of striking at all. Took him ages to even start checking leg kicks.

Boxing is what he genuinely seems to love, even more so than MMA or BJJ. And right now, there's a lot of money in this celebrity boxing stuff. Instead of going against young pros, he can fight old MMA vets or social media personalities.
