Boxing has highest death rates among any martial sports I believe. Every weak or month somebody dies from punches to the head.

Kickboxing it seems refs are quicker to check on the fighters for the count and tend to stop it quicker.

Boxing it seems these refs send these Boxers out again when clearly they already done.


Edit: Nate should stick to Boxing, he's competent enough in it. Kickboxing I think he wouldn't last very long. Leg kicks has always posed problems for him.
