I believe they are selling these guns. Someone asked how much they cost on their Instagram. They replied with "call this number xxxxxxxxx".
If that isn't a fake post, then the number likely leads to a shop that offers dura/cera/whatevertacitcoolsoundingname-coat or "kote". Again, who cares? This isn't a new idea:

I think anybody who reads your posting(s) ITT, especially this last one, will be able to extrapolate this now. Thanks.

Jesus man , what a simplistic and childish tactic......I know you are but what am I ? THAT'S where your skills are at ?

That doesn't look like a guy winning an argument, that looks like a lab monkey finger painting with his own shit.

Meh, if it's not a production run and just for show -don't have an issue with it.

If it's some sort of production run where people can buy them? Fucking stupid.

Relax.

This says it all.

To expand on Doughbelly's point; it is another sign of the perversion of gun culture, in certain places; where by blurring the line between toy and weapon, eliminating the sense of actual violence behind it's use, making out it's function to be harmless or normal, like that of playing Duck Hunt on Super Nintendo.

Having said that, this gives me major nostalgia feels as I was born in the 80's and loved video shooter games;

That gun is FUCKING AWESOME!

Jesus Christ some of you people are unbelievable. Whining about "oh no it looks fake". Grow up.

I consider building custom guns an unconventional artistic composition. Clearly, the guys who built this gun were trying to make a social statement highlighting the contradiction of how our society has no issues giving toy guns to kids but when a real gun looks like a toy everyone gets butt hurt.

Are you sure the guy didn't just think;

Shooting a gun can be an enjoyable and safe activity when conducted responsibly, kind of like practicing martial arts; just because someone participates, doesn't make them a bad person intent on doing others harm. If someone decides to put a fun spin on it and all other safety precautions are observed, what's the harm?

So what if he did? It's no different than some liberal asshat artist shitting on a canvas and labeling it modern art. I doubt dude who built this is looking to use it for open/conceal carry.

I'll agree it's a really dumb idea if that's what they plan for it, or if it's mass produced -but for now it just looks like a custom gun maker getting nostalgic and doing something a little different.

Again, thanks for commenting, but my contributions in this thread have been purely for humour. Sorry you missed the joke; humour can be subtle and miss the mark. But I, in no way, have been trying to put a serious message across.

Re-read my posts if you're unsure.

Hasta la pasta, baby

I really don't care if you're serious or not, this is just a random meaningless conversation on a chat board.

Relax.

How mad would you be if you grabbed the wrong one and shot the t.v.
