What say you?

I dry fire practice on my TV all the time, but I do it safely with a verified empty gun and I lock that shit up when I'm not using it.

How mad would you be if you grabbed the wrong one and shot the t.v.
You'd be mentally retarded too because a loaded, real .45 weighs 20 times what a plastic Nintento blaster with a cord attached to it does and feels nothing like it.

Are you sure the guy didn't just think;

AW FREAKIN AWESOME, I MADE MY GLOCK LOOK LIKE A SNES SHOOTER!!!

Well, yeah that's a much more plausible explanation.

OR maybe the guy is sick of his wife and trying to trick his kid into fixing the problem?

This is pretty stupid tbh. Just asking to get someone shot.
Aim anything at a cop and you'll probably get shot. Better get rid of cell phones since that gets people shot.

This is what pro gun folks want if you haven't noticed. They say they are against gun violence but in reality they are very for it. They yearn to test out their guns somehow! Very dangerous people TBH.
Ridiculous and untrue statement made by a scared anti. Take your BS elsewhere.

I'm talking about a kid shooting someone or themselves. Hey, lets make oxy's and dilaudid look like pez!

The response to this is hilarious, most of you have no context for this.

This is not a glock manufactured pistol. This was done by a hobbyist/gunsmith, and this kind of thing is common.

Furthermore, a glock 41 is almost exclusively a COMPETITION gun. It has a long slide, that makes it way too long for carry. Literally almost no one buys glock 41s unless they are competition shooters (USPSA, IDPA, etc). These are typically a base for building what's called a "race gun", just used for timed competitions. People often cerakote them in colors or patterns that look silly because competitions are meant to be fun, and guys get a kick out of seeing creativity.

This is not meant to ever be carried or confused with a Nintendo gun.

If they get a hold of a loaded gun (irresponsible gun owners) they are bound to accidently shoot something anyways, regardless of what it looks like. And young children will eat pills thinking it's candy.

But what about the children?!

Looks pretty awesome by my lights. Not worried about the children here, since as mentioned it's not like this is a general sales model that will flood the market.

How is it irresponsible? None of us have any context for why the gun owner did this customization. Maybe he has no kids? Maybe he has kids and abides by the law and his guns are locked up safely? Maybe he has kids and they're not retarded and know the difference between a Nintendo gun and a real gun? Maybe this is a gunsmiths gun and sits in a case at his gun shop for customers to giggle over?
If this guy buys a Porsche, and let's his 16 yr old kid who can legally drive it borrow his car, is that equally irresponsible? Either way, there probably wouldn't be a forum debate on it, and that kind of thing probably happens way more often.

Now IDK how I feel about this. On the one hand, that's cool as shit.

On the other hand, while these guys say that they keep it locked up, on general principle, it seems like a monumentally bad idea to make a real firearm look like a toy.

That's pretty much how I feel.

This is such a stupid debate.

how can anyone support making guns into children's toys.

its like a doll with a gun inside of it.

20(maybe)-60+ year olds know what a Nintendo zapper is. Kids don't. This a no different than any other gun. Kids in every test where guns are left out play with them... This doesn't change anything. Unless they store this condition 0 in a Nintendo bin it isn't much different.

This is a cool custom 1 off $2000 Glock.

It's a dumb ass idea. Like many have said in this thread.
