To all my honourable colleagues with a Ph.D in Broscience of Sherdog University, who yap about "obese mordbidity", "heart disease", "unneeded body fat", I would kindly point you to up to date research. Which underline two main facts:
1)BMI is, to put it mildly, a shitty indicator of health. And in the normal range (20-25), increased BMI is actually associated with decreased mortality.

2)Body fat itself is not a good indicator of health. Visceral fat and liver fat are directly associated with increased mortality, while subcutaneous fat isn't. Subcutaneous fat has actually been associated with decreased mortality in case of cancer or cirrhosis. Mrs Carano newly acquired subcutaneous and mammary fat shouldn't be of itself a reason for concern.

The pictures shows a visibly healthy 37 years old woman enjoying a successul post athletic career reconversion. I guess the main shade in her life is to be deemed "too fat to bang" by a panel of nutritionists from the Institute of Parents Basement Medical Science.
