Gilbert Burns: Michael Chandler will kick Conor McGregor’s ass

Lol at posters in here talking about Conor having a chance. McGregor is no more. He doesn't exist. He's a coked out steroid user who hasn't won a fight in years. Chandler annihilates Conor in under 2 rounds.

I didn’t expect it to end with a kick. But definitely expected Conor to be a blood mess when the ref steps in to save him. So maybe a head-kick decapitation.
<5>

I think it depends on which Chandler shows up.

If he mixes up his wrestling, he likely gasses McG out and stops him.

But Chandler has also gone full tard with his fight IQ at times, so I would not be entirely shocked to see him trying to just trade hands with McG and wind up getting TKOed.
The "hope" factor cant help conor at this point. He's a washed up has been.

Wtf is kill cliff fc? Is that the new Sanford team? I swear those guys haven’t been able to get a consistent team since the blackzillians

That was back when he was a featherweight, I think? He's so ridiculously bulked up now that there's no way he fights below 170...that's IF he ever fights again. And he'll have to stick to fighting blown up LWs because there's no way he competes with the likes of Usman, Edwards, Belal, ect with that manlet frame. I'll give him a 25% vs Colby since he's a small WW who doesn't cut much, but he'll probably get smothered unless Colby wants to stand and strike for a round.

It's the same team, they just keep changing names because the change of sponsors. I think the "Sanford" name was because of the gym they were training out of, and now "Kill Cliff" is their sponsor.

Ohh got it. Why did they split from hard knocks? I remember driving by it when I lived there but all the guys were training at sanford

He should but I could see Chandlers goofy low fight IQ self running into a left hand.

Chandler should win but he seems to find a way to lose sometimes. I really think he should have got Dustin out of there. Depends how much Conor has declined since we saw him last.

No hairs back is from fighting Donald ww.

"If we were talking about the prime Conor, who beat [Jose] Aldo and [Eddie] Alvarez, that guy was really a badass and I would have to put him as the favorite.

But today´s Conor, drinking Proper No. Twelve wearing a short speedo on the beach last week, that guy will not last with Chandler.”

Agree with Burns here.

I agree with him, actually... And I don't think it would come as a surprise to most serious fans either. Connor is gone.

I see Burns has been reading the forums and eating up the myth that 'current Conor' is somehow different.

Lol, this is such a dumb narrative.

Of course current Conor is different. He is old and has suffered a major traumatic injury. One look at any training footage and you can see he is noticeably slower and just looks old and stiff. He moves like a 40 year old fighter.

His skills may not have deteriorated, but physically he just doesn’t have it. Mid 30s + major injury + bad lifestyle = major athletic decline.
