Also says in the interview that Luque is coming down to train with Burns for the next three weeks.

If Colby/Masvidal gets made, and Burns/Khamzat gets made, with Usman/Leon 2 coming, Luque is reeally left without a dance partner. I suppose Brady would make sense since both are coming off Ws over Chiesa.
 
Khamzat would have a big size advantage here, making for some interesting exchanges. If I had to bet, my money would be on him.
 
Great. I’m looking forward to it in April. So that’ll be what 7 months for the guy that said he wants to fight every week/month? I’m just tired of the rhetoric. Everybody is active on their way up. But Borz isn’t even doing that. If you can’t get your biggest hype train a fight anytime you want. Then there’s something wrong. If the UFC punished ducking with demotion in their self made rankings, this might change.

What’s that Colby, you don’t want to fight? No problem. Next week you’ll be sitting at number 5. They already extorted Edwards into taking that fight. Do it to all of them. Fight or get demoted.

I would much rather see the Burns fight than watch him fight Magny.
 
thank god i hope it happens. khabib 2.0 needs a real test. this is it. if he wins. give him usman.
 
I like Burns but the poor guy is going to get absolutely destroyed and the people who were doubting Khamzat are going to be quietly saying WTF while still saying he has to beat Neil Magny to prove he isn't ducking.

Khamzat by strikes or submission within 10 minutes.
 
They should just make Usman vs Khamzat; I don't see it going very well for a guy that has power at middleweight vs. a former lightweight.
 
It would be an interesting style matchup. I’d like to see Khamzat tested both on the feet and on the ground.
