I had it 117-111 Glovkin. I think people should be giving Canelo more shit than they are. If he had a bigger gas tank he would have been able to let his hands go a little bit more. I didn't think Canelo got his ass kicked; it wasn't like he was getting knocked around with power punches. However Glovkin was landing the whole fight.

Canelo should have took this fight on the inside, or thrown more punches, or both. Period. Just not enough offense to win this one. It's not enough to just slip punches, you need to throw back.

People should be giving Canelo shit for having funny judges scores for every single fight where he gets outpointed.

Even the Khan fight, 2 judges had him ahead even though Khan outpointed him until the KO. During the Floyd fight, one judge had it a draw. Those are just off the top of my head.

All of his wins should be analyzed like the Khan card to see if there's any discrepancy. Just cause he secured the victory doesn't mean we let him off the hook.

As you can see defense is an equal scoring criteria to punches landed so missing 8 to land 1 is not really good boxing.

GGG's aggression WAS effective. He hurt Canelo a few times against the ropes. He missed a lot (more hitting gloves than missing), but he got a lot of good shots in. Some rounds felt like Canelo's backfires brought the round back for him as they were often very good rallies, with hard shots... But mostly it wasn't enough to make up for it. GGG answered quite a few of his hard shots, such as the uppercut, or landed his own power shot before being nailed himself. Canelo had a lot of moments, but it just wasn't QUITE enough to make him the dominant fighter in that fight.

Can there be a "MMA fans who never watch boxing giving their expert opinions on why the sport is dead, why murder is a reasonable recourse for a bad scorecard, and other stupid shit that is flying around here at the minute".

After the 1st judge gave it to Nelo

oh yes, that lucrative rematch that happened 2 years later a did less buys.
No one knew it would do less.

So why do u think all 3 judges scored 10-12 for Canelo. When no PBP did

Those last 3 rounds pretty much show the fix was in.

If you can't see what happened here when it's so blatant not much can be said that will change your mind.

I just rewatched and scored it again.
7 to 5 for canelo. Ggg missed too much.

Well he missed more because he THREW more. If you look at how much they both landed, GGG landed more punches through the fight (especially with the jab), and Canelo landed only a few more heavy strikes than GGG.

Anyone else kinda shocked that GGG didn't murder Canelo's body when he had him against the ropes? I kept waiting for him to throw a solid head shot, connect with that and fake another shot to the head, then hit him with the crippler to the body. Canelo was clearly tired AF and a few solid body shots would open that head right up and stop all that dancing around.

If I knew how to post gifs, it'd be Ace Ventura burning his clothes and taking a shower

WWE is more real than Boxing aka most corrupted sport on planet. Floyd carrying Conor and this fight shoulda told you that. You prolly have to go back to the 80s not to see a work and even then half were.

It was a good, close fight. I watched it 2 times. Scored it 7 to 5 for canelo but couldve saw it a draw as well.

Canelo won that. In a close fight like that you give it to the guy who has the momentum
