Yes this was definitely a robbery.

its not even a robbery. your guy not winning a close fight is not a robbery.

Yes it was robbery. Fight was close, but still every fighter saw GGG as a winner. No question who is the better fighter after this. Age was very big factor in the fight.

You are biased. Canelo is a counter puncher and stood against the ropes multiple times taking everything GGG had to give out. Guess what? Your monster punching GGG didn't phase Canelo either.

He's not mine. Canelo was on his bike 80% of the time. That is not how Canelo usually fights. GGG on the other hand fought how he usually fights, coming forward 90% of the time.

Not a robbery of any sort.

one godawful score does not a robbery make.

How was age a factor? Are you thinking of the correlation between age and speed?

On his bike my ass. You mean he was using movement and footwork.
What Canelo was doing was outboxing GGG.
There were points where Canelo was inviting GGG in, while laying on the ropes, and GGG stayed at bay.
Thats not how GGG fights....

Yes. GGG himself said that age is going to be a big factor one month before the fight. I can clearly see age having some effects to his reflexes. He isn't the same fighter he was five or two years ago.

Nope. Usually, as everyone except you apparently knows, he usually uses upper body movement and not back peddling to defend. He used his legs more than he ever has. He went to the ropes like 10% of the time. He was the aggressor 10% of the time. 80% of the time he was on his bike. That's not how Canelo fights.

So he can't use his legs more? He showed why hes improving and becoming the best boxer in the sport. Hes adapting and adding new elements to his game.
GGG is the same fighter every fight and when someone doesn't budge to his power, he starts to become confused.
Canelo lost the middle rounds due to fatigue, and thats when GGG jumped in. When Canelo came back in the 10th, GGG had nothing.

Canelo beats him soundly in the rematch.

If we get a rematch, it’ll be interesting to see what tactical shift we'll see when it comes to GGG?

He can go back to more body punching, because Canelo did have phases in the fight where he was ducking and slipping Golovkin’s power punches, and that’s where GGG’s lack of pure speed is a real disadvantage.

How you guys seen the fight more then once? Try one more time. Maybe on mute.

It was a great fight. And a very close one.

I haven't seen the fight but I knew this would happen if Camelot kept it close and made it to the finish. GGG fans couldn't live with an undersized guy making the terminator look very human. GGG is worse than people think and Canelo is better. He shouldn't fight at this weight imho.
