Yeah I'll watch it. One thing it has going for it is mma fans are more nostalgic than other sports so even if guys are old, washed, on long losing streaks, havent fought in 5 years they'll still care.

The problem for GFL is the money they are paying in contracts, can they sell tickets and get a rights deal that covers it or is this just gonna blow through a war chest until it loses enough and they're done.

No, the team shit is a total gimmick. They really should just make this the legends fighting league cause thats all it is, old names from UFC at the end of their careers that tug at the nostalgia of fans.

Rua got taken out of his fight for unknown reasons and replaced. Werdum was supposed to fight Mir and Mir had to withdraw to have surgery or some shit. Werdum is listed on night 2 but opponent unknown. Maybe they get Hunt to fight, why not?

Atomweight is 110, strawweight is 125, and bantamweight is 140. No flyweight. Nothing stopping 125ers from continuing to fight there, or 115ers from dropping the extra 5 to 110, though
