Getting rich is really hard man

Rich is relative. Once you have everything you want then having more money just means having more money in the bank.

You lost me at child support. Of course you're not gonna get rich if you have to pay child support working a regular job.

1) child support is always gonna kill you
2) you seem like you want to flex too hard. Sell your property with profit and buy some shitty 1/2 bedroom appartment you can buy straight away and refurbish in the weekends.
3) don't waste your money on cars, once they leave the dealership they will also have lost a great part of their value. Buy/ lease something that doesn't cut your pockets but doesn't look like shit either. Marc Zukerberg drives cars that cost -30k. (even if he owns supercars).

Back in the day I lived in the storage unit of my shop. It wasn't great in terms of luxury, but it gave me the financial freedom to do so much more. Travel for six months? Check. Buy whatever I want? Check. I know with a kid it isn't possible, but a cheaper place to live won't kill you either. If you have a smaller property that is paid of quickly, you can put it to rent and buy a second one.

Save your money and retire in a third world country. And don't make any more kids unless the woman is going to stay with you (which is highly unlikely nowadays)

I have a wife that's way out of my league so it takes a lot of money to keep her happy.

So basically I make a lot of money but I'm still poor and my wife is rich.

Yes, you are not enough for her, so you have to compensate her spending time with you by buying her gifts and giving her money ...

That’s sounds too submissive to me on your part. Personally, I like a woman that submits to me, not the other way around.

In Canada half our income goes to taxes. My mortgage for my place is 428000, I pay $2500 a month just to live in my condo. That’s more than Half my income already. My kid eats a lot too. I’m 30 now. I just can’t get ahead.

Lemme translate that for the audience.
You made a bunch of shit choices in your life, don't know how to manage your money, and you're wondering why you feel poor.

P.S. Is it just me or did we just find this buttmunch's alt account?

You could drive a Ferrari and the end of the day you still live in Canada.<Lmaoo>

How much does the himbo career path make?

Own a house, two newer cars and have 70k in the bank and still feel poor myself. Probably because the items aren't paid off yet.

30 years old.

I’m working my ass off out here and can’t get comfortable to save my life.

I’m a hardworking talented mortgage advisor in Toronto. Will make around $130,000 this year Canadian. That isn’t even 100k USD this year but I’m outperforming the rest of my team.

Own one condo I’m renting out and the other one I live in.

Gotta pay child support my ex and support my kid.

Can’t afford a house in this city because they are starting at 1 million.

Can’t afford a new BMW because half my income goes to taxes.

Most Canadians are surviving on a lot less money.

It’s just hard to make it in this city. Canadian doctors and lawyers don’t even make a huge amount of money on average.

I want a lake-house overviewing the water and other nice things. I’m willing to work hard and sacrifice. Just don’t know how.

Just a regular prick trying to make it.
Take out a heloc on your property and invest in another rental dude. You are very lucky, you have a great life and kid etc., but put your money to more work for you if possible.

It could be worse. You could be like me and be surrounded by friends and family who make more money and constantly brag about it in not so subtle ways.

lol

What a fucking cunt you are.

you make a 100k a year and you are not rich? along with your properties?

of course things might cost more but still 100k is rich as fuck

hold on a sec you might be trolling lol

Sounds like a thinly veiled humble-brag

Shouldve worked on fixing that marriage and you'd be a dual income household with a much more favorable position.

You're fucked because of that failed marriage.

There are countless people older than you who are forced to live with roommates in NYC because rents are so expensive. You're at least doing better than them.

TS i listened to my coworkers and managers for years talking about how broke they are and they would go spend $10 on a pizza and $5 on a coffee every day.

meanwhile i eat the jackinthebox 2 for 99 cent tacos for lunch.

shit i forgot to mention their $5 smoke breaks

That’s like $3000 savings a year at the expense of a delicious daily pizza and coffee. Not worth it.
