Getting grabbed as a girl in BJJ

I don't see how so many of you say this is accidental. Being a lighter guy I've rolled with girls at the gym many many times. Sometimes you have to put a hand or two around the chest, that's not a huge deal, but grabbing poon while in N/S?? Trying to get a collar grip and going under all layers and touching nipple? In my opinion that's completely ridiculous. I think if she suspects it might be done on purpose she needs to talk to her instructor and ask him to keep an eye on her when she rolls to get his opinion.

I know a lot of times they have way better technique, etc, but ones that are brand new should probably learn together. Is it the girls fault the guys that have these attitudes are so immature? Those guys need to be told to grow up and learn some respect for their teammates.

I'm not a huge dude (my weight fluctuates between 164-170), and I most definitely have probably a good 25-35 lbs on the girls in my class, but I don't take it easy on them unless I'm really gassed.

I usually end up just passing guard and trying new submissions from the top. It's retarded to go to your A game on someone smaller, weaker, and less experienced than you. Since I'm more skilled than the girls in my class (one of them is a blue belt, but I handle her at will, without using my strength), I usually just work sweeps, transitions, positions, and submissions that I want to get better at and incorporate into my game. They make great dummies.

One thing you do have to watch out for though when rolling with chicks, besides when passing guard and getting lapel grips from side ride or back, is doing knee on belly too high. A few times I went to KoB on their chests (you shouldn't be that high while KoB unless you are doing reverse KoB), and they let out a yelp, as I was squashing their breasts.

One last thing. Even though it happens, I would much rather accidentally grab a girls tits or ass than a guys junk. I'm trying to forget the time when I did a guard pass and was going for a pant grip, and somehow ended up with a handful of testicles. That memory haunts me to this day.
 
There are a few girls that have been through my gym, and one that's been around a while. I prefer not to roll with them since I'm so much bigger, but I didn't even think about them as women when we rolled.

What's weird though was the first time I did Muay Thai with a female sparring partner. I had met this girl outside the gym and she was already training before I even knew there was MMA training available in my city. I asked her on a date, we went out, I thought she was nice and attractive but had zero interest whatsoever in going out with her again, then I started training mma.

One day we were sparring and she said she wanted to pair up with me. I was kinda like, "Am I supposed to hit you?" and then I started thinking that was wrong of me to assume I had to go easy on her when she knew what she was getting into.

The story would probably be better if I had just put a beatdown on her, but I was a little freaked out so I didn't. I played defense for a while until she'd hit me with a few legkicks, then I threw a light body punch.

"OOPH!" She said. I apologized, and she said it was no big deal, but a few moments later I put my jab out there again to her forehead. I swear to God thought I was just sticking my hand out there, and she kept reassuring me she was fine, but she kept going "Ooomph!" when I would hit her. Every time I'd throw a punch I'd be stopping and saying, "Sorry. You ok?" Finally when I left my hands down she just came after me like crazy and again, I gave her what felt like a tap in the gut and she stopped and said

"Fuck! You got me in my ovaries!"

Finally the round finished and I didn't have to spar wth her again. I had almost zero experience then so it probably wouldn't be as uncomfortable now, but it was pretty entertaining then. Especially because someone else gave me a nice shiner that night and I of course HAD to tell everyone how i had hit a girl, and then started the jokes about her giving me the black eye, etc. etc.
 
a few funny stories in here, i try to avoid grabbing anything but sometimes smashing the breasts cant be avoided, especially when i have the back. one time my friend was caught in a kimura and he couldnt see where he was tapping so he ended up tapping her tit like a drum, kinda loudly too, she didnt seem to mind.

i think if it was actual groping, the girl has legal grounds for sexual harassment... ESPECIALLY considering the fact that there should be witnesses.
 
Sorry, if a girl rolls with the boys then she is open to anything that is not blatantly copping a feel. It happens in many other sports. DOn't want the risk? Don't roll with the boys.
 
Haha well after reading this whole thread pretty sure she's going to stop being a "free spirit" and wear a rash guard. But she really didn't care about the accidents.. so maybe not
 
Forget that she's a girl. If I felt disrespected by any one of my team mates, no matter what it was, I'd be confident enough to bring it up with him or her. Why go home and just think about it? She should try calling him on it next time if she really feels that uncomfortable.

I'm loving the story about the Brazilian chic. If nothing else comes from this thread that was worth reading. (:
 
Do you think a girl's going to slow down when she breaks your guard and her knee is pushing into your crotch or anything like that? If not, then why should you stop for her? Sure, if shes alot weaker, less experienced, and lighter.. go easier of course, but that's normal.

Since my cardio sucks balls, I'm usually too tired, sore, or in too much pain to think about anything else except winning or avoiding getting choked out. This includes inhibitions because they're female and shit. After a while, I stopped viewing the women in my class as women, and eh, life goes on.
 
i don't know me. i roll with the girls in class just like i would someone less skilled. i like to use no gi grips when i roll gi or no gi. so i use the same grips with them as i would anyone else in class.
