Puppet Warp is a powerful tool for sure.
Yeah the AE tracking stuff is new for me as I've never used After Effects but I've heard it's really clever and can do all kinds of advanced stuff. I think I will have to definitely dedicate some time in 2022 to learning it -- I might have to watch a series of nerdy AE youtube vids or even maybe buy a book (a real book! made from dead trees! I do like those!!!) about it. Various people have said it's hard to learn.
Also I should bite the bullet and upgrade my PS. I'm still on....wait for it.... PS CS6. It's kinda ancient.
I know I'm missing out on some clever tools.

Most of the tutorials you will find are not geared towards what we do. A book may help you learn AE, but it also might be the loooong road in learning how to shoop with it.
