Get "in shape" and cut for summer

i have been lifting weights for a little over a year now and doing some low intensity cardio and and bag work and have been starting to run in the mornings since its getting nicer out here in ontario now that winter is over.
I was just wondering if anyone can suggest a specific routine that would increase my muscle tone and cut me up. Like i said i have been following "bodybuilding" routines mostly but havent seen as much progress as id like. My diet is good i eat high protein mostly coming from chicken breasts , egg whites and whey. carbs coming from oats , fruits and veggies.


Im just bored overall...

Wow, I wonder how they trained them to do that. That was pretty cool.

Does that really help with getting cut for summer? I thought it was just going to teach me how to improve my fighting ability. :icon_conf

Here's my current workout schedule:

8:00AM - Breakfast
8:30-9:30AM - 1 mile run
10:00AM - Watch Fight Club
10:45AM - Pause movie for a Protein Shake
11:30AM - Lunch
12:00 - Hit the Gym for some Curls
12:30-3:00PM - Check out muscles in front of gym's mirror
4:00PM - Protein Shake
5:30PM - Dinner
6:00-9:00PM - Watch MMA/Boxing/etc on TV.
9:30PM - Sleep

Maybe someone can help?

How do you run for an hour and only cover 1 mile?
8:30-8:36 - 1 mile run
8:36-9:30 - flex for hot chicks - show off your last 6 minutes of work!

To answer the OP...
If you're not seeing progress your diet isn't good so you need to move out of the denial phase, beyond the acceptance phase, and, fix it!

If you're not seeing a specific muscle group develop aesthetically as well as you want it to then go to a body building forum and ask for tips on working that group.

Exercise determines how you look once you're lean. It does not make you lean.

did you just pause the movie, or did you ever go back and finish watching? this could be the problem
