there are no official figures, its just bullshit by people who make a living saying bullshit, telling people who believe bullshit, and then those idiots re-posting it online like its factual

I don't know how much money they'll make, but I doubt it would generate as much as the Tyson / Jake fight.

It's a highly strategic pick to fight a guy who probably won't knock you out, but has sort of high name value attach to him.

Anyways, it's a silly spectacle and people should avoid watching it.
It won’t.
Tyson could’ve fought one of us and it would’ve done the same views

Netflix paid Paul and Tyson $40m and $20m for their match. I don't see how Netflix could justify spending more than half that for this one.
If Paul actually made 40 million, then he probably is making north of 80 million for his second fight for Netflix considering the viewership of the first fight. 9 figures isn't far off for Paul, though I dont know what Tank would make.

Tyson was the big part of that draw though, he's a household name.

Jake's last fight before that was Mike Perry and did 68k buys.

Paul Vs Tank is gonna get 30% at best of the views of the Tyson fight.

You're not paid based on how much you made the fight before mate. Anyway, Paul's PPV history is deep figures for all his other PPVs according to wiki. The Perry fight is an outlier and was put together short notice (he was supposed to fight Tyson originally) in addition to him being a literal UFC journeyman.

No one makes 40 million dollars, gets the 100 million views or whatever, and then makes the same amount of money their next big fight.

The exposure alone from the fight with Tyson would raise his value. He will likely make more than when he fought Tyson for the same reason why many fighters makes significantly more after they beat a mega name.

People may not watch it like Netflix hopes and overpay, but obviously Jake Paul isn't going to sign for bozo money to possibly get humiliated by someone half his size when he has objective stats to bargain for significantly more cash (and Netflix obviously wants him, otherwise the fight wouldn't happen).

This is an experimental phase for Netflix and people here are acting like it's crazy for a FAANG company to throw big money at something that might not pay off. Netflix throws their money around on dumb shit that doesn't make money literally every month.

i don't think anyone is saying these guys won't get paid a lot more money than they're worth.

we're saying there is no way in hell tank's purse is 150 fucking million dollars for this, because it would put the cost of this event somewhere in the half a billion range. which is absurd.

what was his highest purse so far? 10M? 15?

Like hey I wanna fight Ank or Aspinall ....... sorry you cant. .......... Okay ...Merab or Pants lets fight!

No it does not. Jake is going to beat the shit out of him.

Jake Paul is pretty slow compared to Tank it isn't gonna be that simple and Tank is way slicker it's not gonna be a size blowout like you think

It will. Jake has much more ability than his brother and the difference in reach is carnival level.

Ring craftmanship, technique, power. Logan is first level beginner.

I agree with that but not gonna be enough to outbox Tank and I doubt Jake Paul can land anything big enough to stop Tank I wouldn't be surprised if Tank hurts Jake with a big left at some point
