I know the guy gets a bit of a bad rap. But I think he was pretty decent tbh looking back.
6'6, big mofo, extraordinary power, actually some pretty good fundamentals in terms of technique. The Norton KO is about as brutal as it gets( timestamped). Although I suppose Norton was pretty old at that point and always had problems with big punchers
I daresay he would be a massive star today. He just happened to run into a great fighter in Holmes imo ( and really didn't do so bad in that fight), and got beat, and never recovered.
Of course he was also on the receiving end of one of the most devastating KO's ever as well...so i suppose it evened out
