German cuisine is underrated!

There's an awesome German Food place in Anaheim. Jaegerhaus.

Spitzer, schnitzel, all of it. So damn good

Haven't been to a good one in a while. Last one I we to was fucking awful.
Mexican food for life

It actually looks very good and it got better when Turkish people brought doner. But if not, still good and I am surprised I don't see too many German food.

We live in a world filled with hate and division but good food brings us together and that's why I love the culinary world.

Hamburgers and hotdogs are some of the most popular foods in the world.
German food isn't underrated.

Saurkraut with gravy, a bread dumpling and pork fillet steak with a dunkel dark beer is great as well.

Those are what should be world famous deep-fried mushrooms.
I may well be moving back to VA. Not for definite but I miss it dearly, likely Virginia Beach. I'll definitely head to the new Waterside in Norfolk and many old haunts including that restaurant.

I don’t make it there enough, especially since I work right down the street. Lots of good local breweries divide my beer drinking attention.
I live in VB, you know since you lived here before, but it always amazes me how much area the city covers. Lots of nice neighborhoods.

I grew up eating German/Polish food regularly, and love it. I was on vacation visiting family in Florida last week, and they took me to an authentic German restaurant in Sanford called
Hollerbach's...it was great!. Add to that they have live German music Fri-Sun night, it was a really fun experience.

Well be good to hook up for a beer when I get back. Norfolk, but my favourite in all of the world is O'Connor in Norfolk.

Don't forget the Strudel for dessert (Austrian but German adopted).

Hungary thanks to the Ottoman empire.

Oh no! O'Connor is my least favorite! I wanted to like them and have tried 7 or 8 of their beers but have always been disappointed. Smartmouth, New Realm, Big Ugly, Back Bay, Rip Rap, Farmhouse, The Garage, Young Veterans, and others rate higher for me. These are all in VB and Norfolk, there are a ton more in Hampton / Newport News.

Their cold meats are so underrated. I first went there as a kid when it was still split and have been addicted since. Bierwurst Is a GOAT

So that's why germans were always portrayed as being round with double chins in propaganda?

I very much enjoyed the food while I was there. Fantastic bread, cured meats, and cheeses. The schnitzel was excellent, as well as roast chicken, sauerbraten, and schweinebraten.

Love me some German food. I have family back im Vaterland so I've been over many a time. Food is perfect, simple fair done well. Beer is great. I like it a lot. Meat, bread, cheese, meat, repeat.

I'm happy it makes you happy, and that you're passionate about it.

For me though, it looks gross and very unhealthy.
