Except GSP did do the extra testing, and more testing on top of it. He never refused testing, and actually went through with allt he extra tests. Not sure where you think he didn't.
 
Not sure why everyone gets their panties in a bunch over this. GSP and his team are quite masterful in their gameplanning, and no doubt would have felt they had a very solid plan on how to beat Khabib. Today's GSP I am not sold would be able to do it, but he was giving his honest opinion on what he felt he would need to do to win. What's the issue here?

Hard to disagree with him here.

His takedowns were always a certainity due to timing and explosive push.. He did take down Big Rigg in his first attempt of takedown in the first 3 seconds of the fight but he didn't manage to keep him there which is what I believe he could do take Khabib down and Khabib gets right back to his feet. I also think he has great wrestling and strength which is one of the places that goes unnoticed Khabib is freakishly strong this is where GSP matches him he has that farmer strength that can't be explained so I think he can defend against Khabib's Takedown for the majority of it but Khabib will take him down couple of times and force a BJJ match but majority of the time he won't be able to Keep GSP down in longer then few seconds max.. GSP will have striking advantage and could score some points standing but Khabib's elusiveness is great and could make it into an unpredictable fight and GSP biggest asset imho is his ability to win rounds. His the best point fighter in MMA history. Khabib will have to change his game-plan into round focussed game-plan to minimize or counter GSP's point fighting system. Cardio wise both had great cardio's and it could be high paced fight.

A prime GSP vs a Prime Khabib is such an intriguing fight probably could go down as one of the best fight of all times on pure skills scale alone and it would be a fight of witts Whoever out-witts the other guy wins the fight.. It certainly would be most skills an octagon ever will witness

Dhamer already released thier gameplan they had after the fight was definitely not gonna happen.

Goerge trimmed down to. Get faster, they were gonna mainly strike the piss out of him and said kicks were his weakness and George was gonna kick the crap out of him.

I'd tend to agree but GSP still is dedicated to is conditioning and strength / mobility training. He' also understands the importance of leaning out as you get older. That being said, 40 years old with two major knee surgeries...

Bisping is not better than Silva, Whittaker, Yoel, Izzy, Gastelum, Chael, Weidman, Jacare, Okami and the list goes on.
 
The most intriguing part about this matchup is that neither fighter has faced someone like the other. So I don’t know how people can definitely say one will destroy the other. I like the the fact that GSP probably has a more focused and methodical approach than any Khabib opponent as far a game plan, both striking and grappling. Khabib’s pressure and skill is unmatched. He’d likely put GSP in positions that no one has or can. We will never know obviously. But to sit here and say one would smash the other is utterly ridiculous.

Exactly he’s 40. At 30-32 it wouldn’t have even been a serious question for him to beat a lw khabib

I want to agree with that logic. Just holy hell he's still in tremendous shape so there is some part of me that could somewhat see it still being there.

He kind of did. He said khabib chain wrestles against the cage, but that he (unlike most of khabib's past opponents) has several tools to get off the cage.
 
GSP wouldve beat khabib. Gsp is more well rounded. He legit drops people with headkicks and punches, outstrikes them and out grapples them. Khabib just out grapples guys.
