a lot of people always speculate how other elite athletes would do in mma if they took that up as their sport of choice instead of boxing, basketball, whatever it may be. people always wonder how tyson would do but how about george foreman? with litttle gloves on he wouldve been terrifying. he without a doubt hit much harder than francis does

Any elite HW boxer has a good chance to do well in MMA. At that size, powerful striking warps a fight unlike in the lower divisions. Meanwhile an elite boxer in featherweight could be a complete bust in MMA.

james toney did it ... this isn't boxing, if your ground game is zero to none you fucked

Terrible example. James was a boxer who trolled Dana for a fight in the UFC. He did no "mma" training what so ever for the match with Couture.

I mean if he wanted to get paid nearly nothing to get taken down over and over again then, sure.

yet you have no example. glad to know you were on the james toney fight camp

Ariel started trolling Toney after the fight was announced. And yes, James bragged about not needing to train any mma to beat Randy.

Without a ground game I don't think he would have done well. That seems to be the trend with boxing/striking only guys when they fight a HW wrestling based guy.

nobody could hit like george...nobody...before his comeback at age 45 or whatever...he had the highest ko % of all time.. nobody was even close...but when he came back, a few guy went the distance with him that messed up his ko%. but nobody hit like big george....not tyson, nobody....but, good boxers always gave him trouble...the only 2 guys he lost to, in his 1st fighting career was Ali and jimmy young...both quick boxers. in mma, I think tyson would have done better...cause he was faster and more explosive...

Foreman would be a much better version of black beast at least. Unmatched punching power and when taken down he could just gtfu.
