genuine good guys in mma.

From the old era of Pride (not from Pride alone, but from the time Pride was at the top):
Fedor, Cro Cop, Nog, Randy, Hughes Franklin

Now a days:
Weidman, Junior, Machida, Maia

Just to name a few :)

I'm going with Big Brown with Barefoot Sweet Red, and anyone who disagrees with me can kiss my ass!

I was just wondering which mma stars you guys may have met that were top blokes. Or if you met any that were not so good?
Ill start -
Ive done seminars with Chris Haseman and Michael Bisping.
Both were down to earth blokes but after all Id heard about bisping I was a little surprised to find out he is a really good bloke easy to talk to and helpful in training.
Ive also trained a few months a Tiger muay thai with roger huerta and brian embersol, both guys are absolute legends!
Most recently I travelled to Sweden and trained at All Stars gym getting the chance to meet and train with Gus, he is a bloody legend too! In fact the entire gym was very accommodating. Everyone was friendly and the quality of training was great!

Gus seems like a really nice guy now but he had been an absolute pos in the past with multiple assault charges on people.

I've met:

Cruickshank, Mitrione, Woodley, Eye, Bruce Buffer, Joe Silva, Might Mouse, Reem and Elkins and all were very personable and friendly. I think you have to remember that with the exception of a handful of fighters unless you are a mma fan you wouldn't even know who these people are if you saw them walking down the street. I think this cuts down on big head syndrome .

I would imagine that a majority of fighters are at least cordial individuals. Who wants to teach or train an individual that is an absolute dickhead.

Lyman Good was honestly one of the nicest people I've ever met period.

Nate Marquardt, Donald Cerrone, Tyler Toner, Shane Carwin, Brandon Thatch, Bobby Lashley, Eliot Marshall, and Neil Magny all come to mind as awesome guys.

Most fighters are pretty nice I would think. I'm sure there are a couple of d!cks sprinkled in there.

Met Tito and he was really nice and down to earth. Also saw Scott Smith at the gym a few years back chatting with people. I was eavesdropping and he seemed nice as well.

Tito down to earth? HAHA I call BS!!!!

I've met Scott Smith and Werdum at a guns and hoses tourney here in CA and they were both decent guys, easy to talk to. Werdum was much bigger than I realized.

evan tanner was a pretty remarkable guy. he would have been 43 on february 11th. he is dearly missed by many.

Nick Diaz. No joke. I've met a lot of fighters, and the guy is just a regular kid from the ghetto who is cool as shit to fans. The guy loves fighting and never let fame get to his head. I've met a lot of fighters and most of them are just meh. Matt Hughes probably being the least friendliest.

Met Fedor, Barnett, and Aleks in Calgary and they were all easy to meet and get photos with. Just wish I would of bought them shots. Didn't think of it till later though.

Fedor even spoke a bit of French
