General MMA Discussion & Future Lines- 2020

Good value on Herbeth Sousa at -125 against Muin Gafurov who managed to lose to Chad Anheliger on DWCS on the LFA card imo.

EDIT - Also loving Jung Young Lee at +105 against Xie Bin (guy who hits like a truck against someone very hittable) and Kyung Pyo Kim at +162 on Road to UFC

Well I'm fucking retarded for Road to UFC. Minimum bet all of the openers and nearly every single one of my bets cashed, with the average line around +150. Would have made a killing if I actually staked real money.

Things like this and contender series are goldmines if you're somewhat hardcore with the regionals. People who don't have a clue about the fighters bet and the lines are all over the place. That line on Red Horse in particular was just silly.

The line on Daniel Torres against Mankowski on KSW this weekend is wiiiiide imo. Torres has fought at 145 in KSW but went 1-1 with Salahdine Parnasse and was competitive in the loss. He also looked great in a one of 155 fight in GMC recently, granted it was against a lower quality of competition, but he looked strong and powerful at the weight. Mankowski I thought looked past prime and frustrated against Ziolkowski, doesn't fight at a particularly high output and I think he'll have problems forcing his game on Torres.

I'd probably cap Torres as a slight favourite, but he's a massive underdog. Might be missing something but I like this one.

first glance thought so too. WIll tape tomorrow, Torres is no joke

the GOAT danny sabatello a rightful -550 favorite over higo.

Hilarious to think a year ago this guy was nothing more than a meme boring fighter on here, and managed to turn everything around with one performance.

He's got the perfect style to beat Higo. He's still a meme boring fighter imo, he's just very effective at it.

Is anyone else surprised Pereira is the favorite over Strickland?

Alex is the real deal but this will be his SEVENTH pro fight. Sean has a titanic experience edge. Bruno is a legit MW so that performance was telling of Alex's improvement but Sean is 17-0 @ MW and while he is mainly a striker in MMA he has and can wrestle and control fighters. He even did it against Hall. Pereira got taken down and clinched up for a while by Andreas who has no grappling. Seems wild to me Sean is the underdog here even tho is one of the more winnable ranked fights for Alex ATM.
Ain't so sure about that.Pereira is obviously a massive talent.Even at 34 he learned some stuff pretty fast and he looked at least 30% better in his second fight and Silva is no joke.I'm passing for now but if the line swings a bit I'm gonna lay money on him

Really? Higo beat Caldwell in the rematch though, and Sabatello today isn't much different from how good Caldwell used to be.

Caldwell gets a lot of disrespect despite the fact that he finished Borics in 2 minutes less than 2 years ago.

Aside from getting dominated by Bruno Korea on TUF, Higo doesn't really have any bad losses.

Caldwell cuts too much and keeps gassing, he usually starts fights okay. He should fight at 145, he looked great against Borics and then took AJ down pretty easily before being his usual non aware self with subs.

Good value on Marcos Breno against wobbly chinned takedown spammer Richard Palencia on the next Bellator card imo.

thanks I tailed you

Fiorot at pick'em odds vs Andrade seems like a steal. I don't think Andrade is that good at 125, Fiorot will; be absolutely massive comparted to Andrade. Fiorot is also the more technical striker.

I don’t think anyone vs Andrade is a steal

big step up for fiorot. Was considering hitting Andrade at evens but the fight is almost two months out

andrades power and pressure is a lot to deal with. Girls don’t typically run into opponents as savage as Andrade

Yeah but she is so undersized. I think it is a very big factor.
