trey ogden just opened a dog again. jesus christ why does he keep getting disrespected?
Strongest grappler he's fought so far since his loss to Leavitt, and imo Moises is leagues above Jordan everywhere, so it'll be interesting to see if he's able to outstrike Moises because I can't see him holding him down without getting reversed or subbed. He's got 3 1st round sub losses on the regional circuit, two of those against Gifford who is very bad, which I assume is a big reason as to why he's the underdog here.trey ogden just opened a dog again. jesus christ why does he keep getting disrespected?
Rubbish.Jan Blachowicz at 200+ vs Ulberg is easy
Ulberg will never be a top contender, two rounds of cardio. A decision with Fabian, a loss to Kennedy. Line unjustified.
mostly jabs. he went near 50/50 in every round with Volkan, this is a 50/50 odds fight.Rubbish.
He's the standout LHW in the UFC alongside Ankalaev (no it's not the glass jawed fraud Perreira, who gets tailor made striker match-ups every fight).
Blachowicz is finished dude.
If Ulberg has bad cardio, then how did he have his best round vs Volkan in round 3?![]()
I guess I object to Ulberg not being a top contender.mostly jabs. he went near 50/50 in every round with Volkan, this is a 50/50 odds fight.
Perreira would never get chinned by Kennedy. Who has the glass chin here?
Jan historically has always paid as a 2-1 dog.
Ulberg doesn't check calf kicks to his lead leg, he has a bladed stance. Once he passes mid 2nd round he throws nothing but jabs and check hooks. He got taken down by Jung in round 3 pretty easily, he's untested against a solid grappler. Jan can and probably will wrestle Ulberg against the cage and take his back, he was smothering Alex very easily. .. Alex is a more proven defensive grappler than Ulberg btw.. Even so Ulberg also got hit a significant amount by Jung and Volkan who under Jan's rankings. It's a 50/50 fight only cause ulberg is younger and faster off the gate, once he slows down, he becomes easy to pressure and out grapple.I guess I object to Ulberg not being a top contender.
He's 1 win from a title shot, and I believe if he was fighting Pereira next month he would probably win.
Blachowicz' win over Rakic doesn't count, it was an injury related anomaly.
He seemed to have deteriorated so much in his last fight, that he went from being able to easily beat Adesanya with wrestling in a 5 round fight, to gassing out in 1.5 rounds, and not having even half the success wrestling, against another kickboxer who is presumed to be easier to out-grapple.
From what I recall of his fight with Ankaev, he didn't really have any success other than landing calf kicks.
He's 42 in 2 weeks, all the signs are that he's shot![]()

I just saw Rodriguez vs Costa was booked with a quick turnaround for Costa. Is it me, or does Rodriguez get very similar matchups repeatedly? It seems that he always gets aggressive grapplers who he can neutralize to victory. I'm really looking forward to his line on this one.
C Rod definitely won't bizarrely tap to a slow developing guillotine started from guard off Costa's back like Fili did. That much I know.
But I agree...hopefully oddmakers haven't learned their lesson yet.
He did lose via guillotine in his fight before last one haha.
But I agree he should be fine here.
