I was SOOOOO disappointed in Blood Dragon. I dont think I put more then 2 hours into it. After seeing all the positive reviews and people saying how great it was I thought why not. The game was said to be a love letter to 80 and early 90's pop culture and was made for people in my are range. God damn I think its over hyped. It felt tacky and didn't have the same tight feeling controls as Far Cry 3. It was only 5 bucks but I wish I had passed on it. But I know I am one of the few that way.

I've never played a Fallout game before 3 but I got the first two and tactics for free on GOG a while back. So I say why not put Fallout 2 on this old laptop and see how it runs. I've actually never played 3 or NV, but I'm glad you're enjoying a classic.

You should. Don't listen to the haters.

Fallout was my first own computer game back in 1997 and been a my favorite game since. Sure, Fallout 3 & NV are different in many ways but both are very enjoyable for an old school fan too. Especially with mods.

EDIT: Now playing Wasteland 2 and it's amazing. Still, I feel like New Vegas is probably the biggest role-playing experience I've ever had.

You're missing out on two of the best games ever made imo. They are magical to say the least. I would pay a hell of a lot of money to be able to wipe my memory of those games and be able to experience them for the first time again.
 
Once it was fully patched, New Vegas just beat 3 for me. Only just though. Both games are magnificent.
 
NV is the better game imo, storyline, mechanics, mods.
 
Has anyone here played Blackguards? I am liking the demo, but wanted any kind of feedback from this game. It is also on sale, so that makes me want to buy it.

Friend of mine is sending me about 25 SNES games. I never got to play them when I was younger. I was a Genesis kid. Looking forward to diving into the classics.

Gonna pick up a SNES off of ebay soon. Can't wait!
 
A friend randomly asked me the other day if I played Payday 2. I told him I didn't have it installed, and I only played it a little bit because I hadn't had company in there and it sucks to solo. Reinstalled and we grabbed a third person and holy crap that game is fun.
 
Finally playing through Bioshock Infinite - can't believe I waited this long! Lord knows that I regret putting off buying a new PC for so long.

I hear that it's quite short though? Any feedback?
