Will the backwards compatiblity be superior on Xbox One??

Becuase PS now on PS4 was atrocious IMO. I have 20mg high speed internet and the games were sub hd, and the prices were hideous...

I hope i get to play the F.E.A.R trilogy, but have my doubts since they have this poll site where you vote for which games you want to be backwards compatible, which saddens me since most games with the most vote are like fucking Halo and Cod...

If you go on their word it will be a good service. If you base it on their past track record with backwards compatibility then its going to be garbage. The only way to play old games without playing it being a buggy emulation is to just buy the old system. Its not like they cost much anymore.

You should expect PS Now to be shitty. They're streaming entire games. It won't be perfect for a while. I have no doubt that's the future of gaming though, once they get all the kinks worked out.

As for BC, I can only compare it to the 360's BC, which was less than optimal. The games were playable, but they had issues. Mainly framerate drops, and hiccups in the animations. I tried to play KOTOR on the 360, and gave up a few hours in because the tiny flaws were pissing me off too much.

At 77% now trying to get the hang of using Bash to shoot these purple energy balls through relay stations while I bounce around the map to get top the next relay in time

Extended Cut or not, the ME3 ending is still fucking garbage. I have no problem with Control, as that makes perfect sense as a Renegade option, but killing off all synthetics or happy-clappy making everyone the same are the only non-evil endings? Fuck that. Shooting the fucking star child out of nowhere in the head should be the default option, then blowing fuck out of the reapers, not failing and starting off the next cycle.

They at least sorted out how and why people got where they were, but not the underlying balls-up that comes from a pair of hacks rushing out an ending over lunch.

Damn good game otherwise, and well worth playing up until Marauder Shields falls after his heroic last stand.

I'm just thankful I never had to play it vanilla. Yay for destroying the Reapers! Erm, sucks for the Turians and Quarians though, stuck somewhere with no food they can digest.

And yeah, I want my fucking happy ending as a Paragon. Not a choice of either me dead or all the synthetics including EDI and the Geth. The series isn't exactly built on shades of grey, like the Witcher series, so I wants my cliched Hollywood ending. They used "they're already dead, they just don't know it" so it's only fair.

Honestly, everything prior to Shep's conversation with that "kid" was brilliant. ME3 had one of the best stories of any game I've ever played. Everything that happened on Earth during that final battle was amazing. If I hadn't already heard about the ending, I totally would have been fooled into believing that the ending was going to be epic.

I don't think the war asset stuff was done well, and incorporating the multiple choices didn't always work too well, but I can understand the latter, given how many they needed to take into account. Keeping Kelly alive by changing her ID being a renegade option was a bit silly too, as was keeping Tali out of the game for so long. Other than that, yeah, it was great.

London itself was a blast too, especially when you get overwhelmed by Brutes and Banshees whilst waiting for EDI to sort shit out.

That star child though... What they were thinking, I don't know. Other than a brief reference to something beyond the Reapers from the Prothean VI, there was absolutely nothing to indicate his existence. You just don't introduce a new character for an ending; it's fucking awful writing.

Ori turned a profit for the creator in 3 weeks and the publisher, Microsoft, in a week. Odds are there will be a sequel and copy cats like it.

I'm in the camp that had so much fun playing ME1, ME2, and especially ME3 that the ending didn't even come close to ruining the game for me. After it all went down I thought "C'mon, you could have done better guys", but that didn't detract from the rest of the entertainment I got from the games.

I still am waiting for another game to do what Mass Effect did for me. I was so fucking pumped to get home and play ME3 each day when it came out.

It certainly hasn't ruined the game. There's a good 30 hours or so of good stuff before Casey Hudson strikes. I'm just gonna play up until the Citadel with my various characters, and then leave it at that.
