General Gaming Discussion, v3

The fuck?! Nintendo cancelled Friday?! What am I supposed to thank goodness for now?

TB goes off on Ubisoft

God bless Steam sales. I would like to play those games, but it doesn't HAVE to be in the next 9 months.

Ubisoft deserve shitting on. They're a scummy company.

I would love to play more Ubisoft games, but I fear I won't since I have no way of knowing when UPlay will randomly take a shit and delete all my save info.

Same here. I don't think I've bought an Ubisoft game unless it was 75% off on Steam, and then I finish it quickly because Uplay is so temperamental.

Then they complain that PC gamers don't want to actually pay for their games. Well no shit. Why should they pay for a half-assed port that's crippled with unnecessary DRM?

There's at least half a dozen Ubisoft games that I wouldn't mind playing on my PC. Since all of them require the Uplay (which is known to be an unreliable piece of shit) DRM client, I refuse to partake of them.

Going to have to watch the Totalbiscuit video soon.

Ahoy made another video. Hopefully you guys will give them a try, I find them quite enjoyable.

Bought Dino Crisis on PSN. I hate the movement (they couldn't update that? BS) but it still holds up. At least through the first hour.

Play through both campaigns first to get a feel for how the tech structures work and the general strength/weakness of units.

If you want to play multiplayer and ladder I would HIGHLY suggest you watch a bronze to masters series geared to your race on youtube. Ladder is highly competitive even at bronze. The game is amazingly deep and a bronze to masters series will give you a good idea at what "works". In short until you hit high plat/low diamond simply having a better economy will win most games.

If you have any questions hit me up. I love teaching a bit about SC2.

Hey man, finished the campaigns, trying the multiplayer (well vs AI so far), the learning curve is pretty tough. Could you recommend me a vid or something? I'm playing as Terran and I can't get the timings down.

I just played through it again recently. I had a good time. Don't mind tank controls as I play RE games pretty frequently still.

Started Transistor.
Supergiant with another amazing soundtrack.

I completed Saints Row 2 to see what the fuss was about (Huge Saints Row 3 fan) and it was pretty boss. I can see why some would be upset at the silliness of 3 & 4, and I preferred the more realistic tone of 2 as well. I might buy a 360 and try out SR1

Cool video. Halflife 2 gets all the love in "GOAT games" articles from gaming sites, but I've always considered Halflife 1 the greatest game ever made.

BMX The Game is finally getting a playable sneak-peek for people that backed the Kickstarter.

I enjoyed all 4 admittedly, but 2 is IMO easily the best.

The first one was great also, but it looks like a Xbox original game by this point. If that doesn't bother you there's no reason not to try it out.

One thing i loved about the first two, was becoming super rich and buying a sick ass pad, that you could actually customize in detail.

And store like dozens of customized cars.

Playing TLoU Remastered but I'm finding myself bored.
