I'd trample Maria to death in my rush to bang Cate, though. Wood hit with the fury of Homelander:)

Cate is gorgeous too. Them big blue eyes and them lips. whew... and I don't even like blondes like that.

The dean is fine too. I know she has some diabolical shit planned, but its fine she's pretty and I like her accent.

the dean is smoking and reminds of a Sri Lankan gal friend of mine I used to mess around with when I lived in Singapore

Exactly. These are not smart people, which explains a lot about their political beliefs. They’re reactionaries.

I don't wanna get too political and have all these posts deleted, so I'm gonna try to stay on topic.

I appreciate the satire coming from Kripke in this show and the boys. They really lean in hard on satirizing consumerism, corporate culture, and other topics. The boys tv universe enjoys complex themes like "maybe nazis are bad" and "if absolute power corrupts absolutely, what would that look like on screen?".

I found the boys way too political loaded at times esp in s2 that sometimes I felt like being indoctrinated nonstop . Also it's very strange how The Boys imprints a very simple moral good vs bad guys onto everyone but then want us to cheer when the "good guy " did horrible stuff. It was all about being part of the right group not what you actually did

It was like hypocrisy as the unintended core concept of the show. Hope this here is doing that better and develops complex ambivalent characters

I think if you pull back further, the central theme is simply, “What would it really be like if some people had super powers?” Many of them would be assholes, and one or two would be good. Because they’re people. And that is the distribution of assholes to good people among the human population.
Sure, there are other smaller themes and plots, all of which are fun. But I think this is more about showing what super heroes would really be like.

For sure, that's the opening scene of the pilot.

"What would it look like if we put The Flash into real world physics, except he's drunk driving? Pink mist. It would be pink mist if he hit a bystander."

Tek Knight's story is too good to make it on TV, just like Herogasm, but I liked the tip-of-the-hat approach they took to it rather than completely drop the ball the way they did HG.

well this was a complete full-stop non-episode. Even calling it a filler ep would be a compliment. It like starts 2 seconds before its over, everything else is just; Remembr' ? catch him! Who?, forgot? 0Sex was how? Who? Remember? catch him? party! catch him!...
hope only one like this this season.

- The Muppet Massacre was as gross-out funny as anything I've seen on The Boys, and I can't pay it a higher compliment than that. I was LOL'ng the whole way through. Whoever wrote that scene is obviously a big fan of Angel.

- Cate's the one who wiped their memories?! I didn't see that one coming.

- Cricket continues to be the MVP. Although Maverick is fucking awesome as well,

"Hey, no Kink-shaming!"<45><Lmaoo>

- Cool to see Milk Chocolate Magneto finally cut loose against Professor Date Rape, but how is Rufus even walking around now? Getting your dick blown off - and not in a good way - isn't something you recover from in a couple of days. Not unless you have a Wolverine-level Healing Factor.
