Television GEN V (Season 2 Returns Sept. 17, 2025)

It's a mindlessly entertaining show. That's about it though. All the characters are unlikable and gross. In this one I guess the MC is meant to be the sane character you root for. For me she lost some points when she randomly decided to have casual sex with the non-binary freak, i.e. became a cum-dumpster like all the other characters. The MC's roommate engaging in the weird penis fetish thing because she doesn't respect herself or something. Golden Boy's friend and girlfriend immediately having sex together after his death. In Gen V the universe portrays every single character as being a fucked up, evil or superficial degenerate. I guess the show is putting dicks everywhere for shock value but it's pretty disgusting regardless.

It's decent filler n it has moments where it's fun an pretty cool. The boys is made due to Anthony Starr an his performance of Homelander along with Urban an without that its just not there. Still pretty fun an a decent watch but imo only interesting character is the shrinking girl.

You know, shows are much more enjoyable if you don’t bring all your psycho baggage along when you watch them.
It isn’t as if I watch shit like John Wick and think, “I don’t like Wick’s character because he obviously doesn’t agree with me on passing common sense gun laws.” Shit, life must be exhausting for you. And scary.

That beautiful brown caramel skin, them lovely long locs, and that cleft chin. She got my blood boiling.

As for the show, I find it entertaining. Didn't expect what happened in the first episode so now im hooked and want to see more. The Boys universe in general I find entertaining, although not happy with the amount of dicks on screen. I could do without that.

The roommate became my favorite character when Marie came back to her dorm after all the craziness and she said "I didn't know what you liked so I packed the bong." That's a true homie right there.

what is funny about The Boys / Gen V is that most of the social commentary is really on the nose and yet some Sherdoggers will watch multiple episodes before they figure out what the joke is and that the show is actively making fun of them

I recall the glory days of the The Boys thread when it took until the second season for some people to figure out that the series was heavily invested in the view that fascism is bad
