We all need to be able to have an honest discussion about the line between acceptance and promotion.Never. But I don't like "celebrating" sexuality. It's weird. It has become something I think it was never meant to be. Being Gay is just a sexual preference. In the beginning it was about equal rights and being ok with being gay. Be proud of who you are because in the past you couldn't. Now it's morphed into a celebration of more than that. The rainbow is so fucking huge and they all get lumped together, even fetishists. When you have a Pride parade and grown men in asschaps with leather dog leashes on show up, something is wrong. When fat Lesbians in thongs and strap ons show up, something is wrong. Why would that need to be celebrated? You want acceptance, get rid of the weirdos, and show that being Gay is normal. Distance yourself from s, and freaks. No one else needs to know what you do behind closed doors sexually. You don't need to be public and want acceptance for sexual deviance. Keep that shit separate from normal Gay people.
As for the freaks in the OP , they should have never been able to adopt. Not because they are gay. But because their existence is ALL sexuality based. All their Social media, everything is JUST about their gayness.
But that line cannot be discussed if the left won't stop calling everyone bigots and they're not going to stop unless the right stops being bigots about it and/or befriending people that are bigots and being bigot adjacent.
But I think we could get there if we could just have honest discussions.
