Wait a bit, if Yemen rebels will increase strikes on merchant fleet ....then europe will order more crude oil from U.S and prices will rise even more.
MAGA guys will blame dems despite Donald too wasn't able to do anything with Iran nor with Housithes....

If someone wants more oil production in U.S elect Obama again. He had signed more drilling and fracking permits than Donald and Joe together...

How much an impact all his policies have ? Not sure but increasing supply and tax cuts helps.

There is also one another big " nuance " : Canada does have gigantic potential further to build new hydroelectric power plants and seriously expand mining industry and they doss have natural gas, crude oil, uranium, rare earth metals, gold, platinum, coal etc etc... even more different kind of stuff than I had mentioned. Canada actually does have just a bit little lesser potential than Russia to provide mining industry production and even not all potential is discovered....

While greens wants that Canada will develop only solar and wind energy .....

In fear that Canadian government and/ or electorate ( voters ) might turn into pro China mode...U.S can't pressure them too much.....
