Man, he really sounds rough. That man took as much damage as anyone who's fought, really went through some wars with anyone and everyone. His list of opponents is a real who's who of golden age MMA fighters and kickboxers. Was always one of my favorites, despite his win/loss records.

I think he sounds here better than before, but hard to say where he's at. Goodridge is one of the guys who just became a bit of a sacrifical lamb and thrown to the fire. If he had one tenth protection guys like Sean O'Malley got, he probably would've faired so much better and not have taken all the damage he did. It's really unfortunate.

I mean, who else can say they fought Judo multiple-time world champ, adcc champ, wrestling gold olympic medalist, sambo multiple time world champ/hall of famer, and numerous k-1 world champions?

At the end of the day, despite the numbers on his record, he's an OG, and a legend in my book. Hope he does well...

i see a couple of video of him and i was going to comment that he sounds and looks incredibly well.
some years ago the story was that GG was basically in awful conditions and i was excpecting the worst.

honestly dementia is very easy to spot, just a conversation is telling (i've worked almost 10 years in a care house for alzheimer patients).
idk but he doesn't seem to have it, good for him.

Goodridge was a bad man at his best. Inconsistent and not elite by any means but he was always dangerous. He knocked out Mikey Bernardo in K-1 who was nothing to fuck with and knocked out some hard men in Don Frye and Oleg Taktarov and TKOd Valentin Overeem who had beat Randy Couture and Ian Freeman in that same year. Goodridge also gave the fans a great brawl with Igor Vovchanchyn in what was a losing effort but still a good scrap. A fully geared up and ready to go Gary could have thrown down with guys like Derrick Lewis and Tuivasa all day IMO. I hespect of heem.
