I liked the show. But how does this work?

How can they represent a style if they are all aware of mma?

do they have to not have any mma experience?

do they cautiously try to mimick the style they are representing?

A young Chute Boxe striker that Sakuraba took under his wing, he was my favorite prospect for a while.

Been a long time since I've seen this fight, but IIRC he held his own pretty good in K1 against THE Buakaw; and they had an extra round to determine the winner.

Hoping he does well.

Wondering how Kiyoshi Tamura will do, he looks so old in that pic I didn't recognize him.
He hasn't fought since his shameful dispray against Sakura in 2008

Curse Tamura for ducking him harder than Rickson in their prime, and taking the fight only after Saku was already in zombie mode; haha I remember the uproar when this fight was announced,
"Oh sure NOW he wants to fight him, such bushido spirit; much samurai, respect; wow"

But hey, if his opponent uses Krav Maga aka Scam Jitsu, it should be a walk in the park.

Ganryujima posted the viewing info on their website. The website is in Japanese and translations are always a bit choppy but as far as I can tell, It's airing live on Fuji TV Next, starting at 6pm Japan time on March the 25th. Which is 5am EST

I'm pretty sure the Nico video broadcast is the day after the tournament. It's only $4.50 USD to order it.
