The third event of Ganryujima is titled “Starting Over” and will take place on March 25th at the Tokyo Dome City Hall, which holds a capacity of around 3,000 people. The event will consist of 8 to 9 single bouts, without a one-night tournament that were included in Ganryujima’s first two events.
Comedian Bobby Ologun was present at the press conference and presented a 190 cm tall Senegalese wrestling grand champion named Gris Bordeaux, who will take on Mongolian wrestler and DEEP and DREAM participant Baru Harn. Bordeaux can be seen in action in the following video clip:
In another announced bout, Ganryujima 2 tournament champion and combat sambo fighter Vitali Krat will make his return to take on HERO’s, DREAM and K-1 veteran Andre Dida, who has fought only once since 2010. Krat impressively defeated J.Z. Calvan and Kazuhisa Watanabe on his way to winning the Ganryujima 2 tournament.
Speaking of Kazuhisa Watanabe, the boxer will participate in his third Ganryujima event, where he will face off against an Indian Silat fighter named Bharat Khandare.
