I expect boxing will be key to his next fight. Volkov's kicking game and grappling are solid and will be hard to exploit, but he is vulnerable in boxing exchanges.

Future HW champ is coming.

The current HW Olympic champion is french. And his (also french) wife is the current LW Olympic champion.

Tony Yoka and Estelle Mossely won the gold medal at the 2016 Olympics, at SuperHW and Woman lightweight. In the history of the boxing Olympic France is 11th in number of medal (out of 197 country), so France is not USA, Great Britain or Cuba but it is still good at boxing.

I'm looking at those olympic ranking and i notice Mexico is ranked 25. I'm a total boxing casual, but isn't it surprising ? I thought Mexico was a boxing powerhouse.

I think PRO boxing is more applicable to PRO MMA.

Turns his head as a punch is coming. Does the same in fights. Takes the power away from incoming shots. Along with his footwork and blocking he has great defense. A breath of fresh air for HW.

good move by Gane. He is working hard on his skills, by training with some seriously talented fighters, and I do think of all the HW contenders.....Gane is the most likely to have a reasonable chance to beat Ngannou. I think he might get that fight later in 2021 or early in 2022. (assuming he keeps winning).
