gamness platinum gi question

Hi,

I was wondering if anyone could help me figure out my size seeing as I've emailed gameness 3 times now asking for help and they have NOT replied.

I am 6' tall and about 165 lbs. Slim build. What would be the ideal size to get? Would it be the A3 and shrink it? Or the A2 and deal with the shortness?

I'm 5'9 and 140 and I just ordered an A2.

If you wait a couple days I'll tell you how it fits. But I'm thinking you're gonna wanna go larger.

Uh, no...it's pre-shrunk.

FWIW, a few guys at my gym have the platinum, and were dismayed to find that it did shrink a bit in the dryer, especially the sleeves. Anecdotal evidence, for sure, but something to consider if you are a tweener.

cmburns, just got the gi this afternoon.

Tried it on, and it's a decent fit, just slightly bigger and baggier than I like, bet it will fit great after the first washing.

So yeah A3 was probably the better choice for you.

I have a Platinum gi (blue) and yes IT WILL shrink if you dry it with heat.

It definitely will shrink just a little bit. A3 sir.

5'2" - 5'6" / 110lbs. - 135lbs. / A1
5'7" - 5'9" / 140lbs. - 165lbs. / A2
5'10" - 6'0" / 167lbs. - 200lbs. / A3
6'1" - 6'3" / 205lbs. - 245lbs. / A4

i'm 6'1 and usually roll about 180 - i find my A3 a bit short in sleeves and pants but a bit baggy round the chest. but i do have long arms

3 is the way to go, you'll feel like a german tourist in an A2
