Techspot said:What that MSRP is going to be has been up for debate. Those hoping it will be somewhere near the RTX 3070's $499 launch price are likely to be disappointed, with many suggesting $699 as a more likely figure. However, according to Moore's Law is Dead, Nvidia will set the MSRP at $749. That's just $50 less than the RTX 4070 Ti's MSRP.
That would be insane, if for any reason it would almost immediately need a price drop to differentiate from the Ti and avoid a massive gap with the 4060s.Speaking of Linus, if this shit turns out to be true, I think the whole world of gamers should join him in a boycott of NVIDIA GPUs until they pull their heads out of their asses.
Nvidia RTX 4070 predicted to have $749 MSRP, AIB models closer to $799
I'm extremely skeptical. It's not coming from a source with a history of reliable leak-sharing.That would be insane, if for any reason it would almost immediately need a price drop to differentiate from the Ti and avoid a massive gap with the 4060s.
Yeah, especially since it wouldn't just be prices for builders, but also affect OEMs and larger players who don't want to be selling $2000 PCs only separated by $100 or something absurd. $699 still seems like the nice round number Nvidia will go for. What volume is anyone's guess though.I'm extremely skeptical. It's not coming from a source with a history of reliable leak-sharing.

Intel came in at 6%. Methodology error from JPR on it, it happens. Still good news over all if you aren't AMD. Ignoring that most of the GPUs are not in America or Europe, and it's shipments. The price cuts from Intel either mean high inventory or a mid-gen refresh. From what we learned it looks like Intel were the only ones to sell GPU units this and last quarter. Tying AMD's GPU overall market share in less than a year. While good its still problematic. For Intel is still following AMD/Nvidias pricing model.
I believe the big reason for Intel selling GPU's is price their midlevel model that is around 3070 or better is going for $280 apparently right now the 750 and the 770 is 350. This is with 16 gigs of video ram and they just recently updated their driver that shows between a 50 percent to 70 percent gain in Direct X 11 graphics and a 20 percent improvement for old games running DirectX 9 and 10 to 20 percent for DirectX 12.From what we learned it looks like Intel were the only ones to sell GPU units this and last quarter. Jump over what? Oh for people who do video streaming their encoder is a nice jump in performance for streaming.
Activate PBO. That's always generally been the best mode for gaming for Ryzen, even better than manual overclocking, but it's particularly strong for the 7950X3D.
Philips SHP9600 on Amazon for $51. They're the successor to highly rated SHP9500's and very close performance wise.
Pair it with a V-Moda BoomPro for $20 and you have a really nice headset.
Sennheiser HD 599 SE for an all-time low of $80
$80 for the 599 SE is extraordinary. That's the most bang-for-the-buck you're ever going to get with a set of headphones.i rock the 600 ohm set of beyerdynamic DT 990 premium's and a JDS labs atom amp to drive them. it was either the JDS atom or a schitt magni 3 - both amps are pretty much equal on price and power output - otherwise i probably would have had to spend like a grand or some shit on an amp powerful enough to drive these things good and proper, or just step down to the 250 ohm or 32 ohm set of DT990's and sacrifice a bit of sound quality.
needless to say i don't think i'll ever buy another set of cans. these are pretty much my endgame headphones. i'm sure theres some better ones out there around the same price range but ive been using the beyers for a couple years now and they do it for me.
sennheiser models are usually good though. for 80 bucks you cant really go wrong. you might not even need an amp for that hd599 either.

I had the Beyerdynamic DT-990 Pro 250 ohm, got the DT-1990 Pro 250 ohm, have it paired with a Topping DX1, it's awesome.i rock the 600 ohm set of beyerdynamic DT 990 premium's and a JDS labs atom amp to drive them. it was either the JDS atom or a schitt magni 3 - both amps are pretty much equal on price and power output - otherwise i probably would have had to spend like a grand or some shit on an amp powerful enough to drive these things good and proper, or just step down to the 250 ohm or 32 ohm set of DT990's and sacrifice a bit of sound quality.

I will say they are better but not 5x better, no. They are more vibrant and clear. It wasn't a necessary purchase by any means, they are more sturdy and more open feeling (more outside sound, whether that's a negative or positive is up to you) and having the detachable cable is awesome, I bought a custom cable for it. It also comes with 2 pads, one balanced and the other analytical. The balanced ones are on by default and I haven't swapped them out.is there any discernable difference between the 990 and the 1990 to make it worth the massive price difference? i didnt really want to take the gamble and pay like 5 times more on a pair of cans that arent 5 times as good. i mean the soundstage and the comfort of the 990 is good enough to my likings. but the only thing that stood out with the 1990's is that the cord is detachable.

They released the 770 Pro X and 990 Pro X which I think are meant to be between the 700 Pro vs 1770 Pro and 990 vs 1990 Pro respectively.yeah they sell pads for the 990s as well but ive never really even looked into it. i dont think mine are worn out and they sound just fine. but apparently there are different types of pads that kind of change how they sound. ive never really looked into any of that though. if the 1990s were a bit cheaper i probably would have got those instead , but i couldnt really justify the price difference. they were well over a grand at the time. i think the prices have since came down because they just released new 700/900/1900 pro x models a while ago

I had the 770 Pro but I broke it when trying to fix an issue I had with it, I enjoyed it but I prefer open back earphones more.
