Underload my voltage would drop considerably, but idle it sat high, I've been reading the reddits all week about this and AMD have been responding to it. But after doing what he said it still shows my idle at 1.45, maybe I misread it last night as it was 2am but I'll look into it again tonight.
I'm also gunna go through and check all my Mobo connectors to make sure they're all connected properly in case they're causing my random reboots.

What program are you using to monitor the voltage? AMD is claiming only Ryzen Master and CPU-Z displays the right voltage.

Originally I was using HW monitor, but after reading the reddits last night I changed to only using CPUZ or Ryzen Master, Ryzen Master showed 1.4** even if 7 cores were asleep. When I did a Prime95 test the cores woke up but the voltage went down (Which is what Robert from AMD said should happen) However I still don't understand why its staying at 1.4** at idle?
Yet with my OC on it was sitting in the 1.3**'s
It could be the Asus board? or it could be something else @Madmick looked into the crashes I've been getting and it seems Win 10 1903 does have a few users experiencing restarts linked to an error in the hibernation/sleep modes.

It's almost safe to say this is the worst launch for AMD ever. I'm glad I've given them a chance as I have seen benefits in most applications I use but god damn there's a lot of issues going on and almost none of the reviewers commented on these they just went "DURRRRR BUY AMD RIP INTEL". I'm hoping all of this is sorted out before my 40 day return is up lmao

If I have high voltage but low temperatures what are the dangers here? My temps are staying low so I'm not sure if this is a danger to me or not? I was under the impression the danger of voltage was the heat it caused.

The 3900x seems to die the most. I've seen 2 other videos earlier where a 3900x died. I know that this one was a Gigabyte board, has anyone seen it happening on Asus boards?

@jefferz managed to fix my aids induced voltage by setting it to windows balanced, instead of AMD balanced, core now powers down instead of staying at max voltage for no fucking reason.

Nice! I was having temp issues is why I had to go change my voltage, I was sitting at 65-70c at idle. I'm running the Ryzen Balanced power plan.

I would advise running the windows balanced plan until they sort out their Ryzen plans tbh.

No need to go past balanced mode atm. Unless youre manually overclocking and using the additional 4pin motherboard power connector.

Except for the fact my voltage was stuck at 1.48 to 1.50 which is currently a common issue. So without it I would probably shortened the length of my CPU's life considerably without doing that.

It's probably not too bad, but yeah, I'd opt to upgrade to one of the Corsair units (TX750M=+$51; RM750X= +$60). The iBuyPower RGB case fans are also probably worthwhile since only one comes in the case (+$16). That brings it to $1242 after the discount.

LOL, oh my. That Overpowered DTW3 unit (the good one) had the 8700 +1080 with 32GB of RAM for $899 last month.

Kingston Hyper X Double Shot PBT Pudding keycaps for $18 on Amazon. Pudding keycaps allow the light to shine around the base of the keycap to provide a unique illumination.

Will these fit my keyboard?
As long as you have a Cherry MX RGB style switch, most keys should work*. Outemu, Kalih, Gateron, and Razer use a Cherry Style MX switch.
What you want to look for when you pull off a keycap is the cross shaped stem, that allows you to use Cherry MX style keycaps on the models I listed above.

* As I said, most keys should work. The main incompatibility issues is the bottom row of the keyboard. Different manufacturers use different size keycaps on the bottom row, a quick google search will tell you which layout you have.
If your layout doesn't match the Kingston keycaps above, you can find pudding keycaps for any bottom row layout from the eBay, Amazon, or any of the usual Chinese sites.

Well, just grabbed a RX 5700 XT (nothing fancy, if I want extra cooling I can add it myself later) and a Corsair AX1500i titanium certified power supply about $600 for both combined (since my state has tax on online sales now ). Next up an nvme ssd, but that's something I can wait for around this time next month.
