Tech Gaming Hardware discussion (& Hardware Sales) thread

Asus released their own fan. 120mm x 25mm PWM Mag Lev non RGB. 62.5 CFM and the static pressure to 3.07 mm. 5 year warranty
I haven't found any USD pricing but I've found them in other countries for about $30-$35.

Go figure this one out I hear internet cafe's in China I guess must have got together or something and have gotten tons of RTX 3060 gaming cards what seems to be the hardest to get maybe? Anyways some places I hear are getting like 30 of them at a time. What's even more depressing some of them are being sent to people in the US for huge mark ups. More reason not to be happy with China?

They have not even announced it yet here isthe rumored prices for custom models. This has to stop.

So the specs for Tiger Lake mobile were already released 3 weeks ago, shown in the jpeg above, including the i9-11900HK and i9-11900H that are intended to battle the Ryzen 4000 CPUs in laptops, but the lower-powered U3 class will be demo'd at Computex, as you can see in the Anandtech link. However, that's not the coolest news. The coolest news is that the latest refresh of the Intel NUC "Canyon" unit will be the first to support a discrete GPU:

Or maybe an RTX 3050.

If it is fingers crossed that it's 75W. Haven't seen an improvement there since the GTX 1050.

BTW, this one requires the extra hassle & wait of a rebate, but it's the best PSU deal I recall seeing this year:
Newegg > Seasonic FOCUS GM-750, 750W 80+ Gold, Semi-Modular, Fits All ATX Systems, Fan Control in Silent and Cooling Mode, 7 Year Warranty, Perfect Power Supply for Gaming and Various Application, SSR-750FM
$110 - $22 Coupon Code - $30 Rebate = $57.99

This is a Tier A Single Rail unit. Biggest downside is that it's only semi-modular, but that shouldn't matter for any non-SFF build these days, not even aesthetically, given all the shrouding and grommeting down to almost the cheapest cases. As it says right there on the case: 7 year warranty.

Getting ready for 10 pm tonight lol "PST"

I just like the XX50 models because they get all their power from the mobo.

True no need to have 8 or 6 pin connections.

Interesting so AMD announced their version of DLSS at Computex - Fidelity FX Super Resolution (FFSR).

But here is the really interesting part. It also works on Nvidia graphics cards going back all the way to at least Maxwell. They did a demonstration on the 1060.

@Madmick have you seen this?

Yeah, they'd already added support on the Xbox Series X last month. I haven't dived deep enough into it yet to understand how it works without tensor cores.

Looks like an optimize software solution maybe running off more the CPU then the GPU. Intel a few years ago tried something similar as AMD was promoting the GPU taking over some CPU operations. Intel since then been spending tons bringing aboard a team of GPU an AI chip designers.
