Basically stuff that will go on the backlog for years.

LOL

I do the same thing. I buy shit I know I will only play for an hour or will put in backlog for eternity.

I'm not a big fan of games as a service, but this is kind of why I like Game Pass.

God, I hate being part of the problem, but...it's working for me right now and that's all that matters.

lol, I'm watching the Jr High one I grew up with. It's all on their YT channel, classic stuff

Degrassi: The Next Generation was my generations version, my older sisters watched Junior High

i picked up Little Nightmares with the DLC for $9

I was looking at that as well. A similar styled game on sale right now as well is called Candleman: The Complete Journey.

Which usually means XB/PS aren't far behind!

For the life of me though, I can't think of a game I want that I don't already have. Dead Cells would be nice, I guess.

We are in the same boat. If Deadcells gets a good sale price I'll be getting that one as well.

RUST is on sale for $9.99CAD, a must buy for any pc gamer, and imo the best online game for the past 2 years, and still getting free new content every month. next month a new monument, the excavator is coming out.

the game has changed so much in the last year. horse riding was added last month, we have mini helicopters now, and the oil rig monument is amazing. it also has a very active community, being one of the more played games on steam.

Just picked this up, I attempted ARK on my Xbox about a year ago but it ran soooo bad on console. I’m thinking I will like this one more with the pvp being more prominent.

Hopefully I can find a couple more scrubs and we can get some kind of base going, I’m going to try it out today

Soul Calibur 6 is -67%.
I remember playing SC 1 or 2 with my friends dreamcast back in the day. Might look into it.

Bought 2 DLC for warhammer II, one DLC for Planet Coaster and Hitman 2 gold edition.

Second South Park game, Fractured But Whole, is 90% off.

This game is NOT the same as the first game...extremely different. Some things they did really well (like the Buddy system) but a lot of this game is frustrating and not fun at all. Of course this is my opinion but I was pretty let down by it.

Yeah, I’ve heard mixed reviews. But almost everyone said it was still funny. So I’ve been waiting for it’s to be cheap. I figure I’ll just put it on easy mode and enjoy the show.

The story was fine and it was funny just like the first, but I found the combat mechanics to be unbelievably boring. Combat is SLOW and takes FOREVER....some fights are 20+ minutes long. I think the main game took me 25-30 hours, and I was just so bored and frustrated with it by that time.

Again, story was fun and lots of great humor, but it was such a chore to play the game. The lack of weapons is also pretty boring in my opinion, but to each their own. I bought the "Gold Edition" on a sale a few months ago, and it came with both DLC's. I played through the first DLC (Casa Bonita) but after that I uninstalled the game and will likely never revisit it.

Anyone have any experience with Frostpunk? Is it worth the $15 sale price?

I think I'll pick up AoE III: Complete Collection for $10.

Some good memories playing that back when

Some recommendations:

Axiom Verse - Metroid style game with great music
Celeste - Puzzle platformer similar to Meat Boy but with a good story and punishing but rewarding gameplay. Top 5 indie GOTY for me.
Cuphead - Another punishig platformer but excellent graphics and gameplay. It's one of the hardest games I've played in years but it has a good learn and get better mechanic that's rewarding.
Guacamelee 1 & 2 - Amazing Metroidvania games with some beat em up combat. One of the best platformers and Metroidvania series out there. Fantastic humor as well.
Hellblade - Just finished this and what an amazing game. It's a hard game to describe but it's a puzzle/hack & slash game with a heavy emphasis on story around a girl suffering from psychosis. Literally one of my most favorite game experiences of all time.
INSIDE - Puzzle platformer with a dark but fascinating story. If you like LIMBO, INSIDE is even better.
The Messenger - Platformer inspired by Ninja Gaiden and Metroidvania. Perfect gameplay and excellent gameplay. My GOTY.
Nex Machina - Arcade-style shooter like Smash TV. If you've played Resogun on PS4, it's similar with the voxel graphics. Addicting gameplay and music.
Resident Evil 2 - Possibly the best RE game ever made. Engaging from beginning to end. A throw back to actual survival horror.
Shovel Knight - I was late to the party on this but it's one of the best 2D platformers I've ever played. Perfect gameplay, good music and charming story and characters. The DLC is good too.
Strider - Criminally underlooked budget title. Strider in a Metroidvania environment. What's not to like?
Watch Dogs 2 - A lot of people didn't like the firs but the 2nd is unique. Lots of gadgets, things to do and a really fun story. Very memorable.

I bought it at release and hated it. I returned it before the 2 hour limit. The only game I ever returned. I'd try again for like $10, but $30 was a total rip off IMO.

Yeah the combat can be very dull. TRPG, but most enemies are not worth your time and takes a a few turn to kill them anyways.

You decided in under 2 hours that you hated it? Damn. That's a quick judgement. Any particular reason?
