Television Game of Thrones S08E06 Discussion Thread: Burn them all! (the writing staff) | Our Watch has ended

idk what is so confusing about Bran to you people.
He's not a marvel superhero.

He knows the "Worlds History" as he's stated, and is a god-like figure that sees the world and it's past and probable outcomes.
Marvel super hero?
<{vega}>

True, i get that the show was never gonna have that happy ending but the books and show even more set him up to be king, what was the point of him being Rhaegars and Lyannas kid lol.

Im cool with him going north, he's been through some shit but bran being king is nonsensical and silly.
Because he was the only person who had the authority to tell Dany to shut the fuck up. That's pretty much the basis.

I keep reading "WHY DIDN'T HE DO ANYTHING DURING THE BATTLE OF WINTERFELL"
It's like asking why Professor X didn't do anything in X2. Fucking hell lol
<{vega}>
People just want to know what he was doing when he said I'm going now

If he was just lookin around thats cool, people are just curious

Was Bran actually manipulating things this whole time?
I know he could see the future but it didn't seem like he was doing shit with it.

Everyone just needs to helax
It's all over now, we are all entitled to our own opinions

When you put it that way it makes me feel a lil better about it. Everyone knew she wouldn't survive but damn they did her character dirty.

Confusing is really not the word to describe. Im not confused. Im curious.

There are many things left unanswered about bran.
What are his motivations? What will his ruling be like? What exactly are the extent of his powers? (We know he can warg ravens, but can he warg Drogon?) Is there really any bran stark left in him, or did he really become "something else"? (which is supposed to be a stream of conciousness in the books if im not mistaken)

{<shrug}

These are just a few off the top of my head. And im not even good at coming up with this kind of stuff or am I a full blast nerd who knows the intrincacies of game of thrones lore to come up with better stuff myself, but im sure other people more qualified would come up with more interesting questions

By not doing shit is what got him the throne, he didn't tell anyone about Dany and let the heir be exiled.

Can he see into Essos

If only we got one season just for night king and one season for Dany VS Cersei. I have no problem with how the show ended, just wanted a better flow of getting there without all the random time skips and omission of events.

yup totally agree with this. it would have developed the characters properly...like tyrion becoming more weak minded, cersei becoming weak minded over her unborn child etc

I don't think so. Seems more like he knew that he would become king after Jon stabbed Dany. Makes more sense than him knowing it since the beginning, especially with his lack of emotion and hunger for power.
