You know what the problem with this whole Russia story is?

The Russian campaign meddling, pales in comparison to the special interest meddling.

Whether planned Parenthood, the SIEU, the NRA, or ALEC, or a bi-partisan group like AIPAC, the influence these groups hold is a mountain to Russia's mole hill.

Russia isn't stealing elections from the American people. They are stealing elections from special interest groups that also have ties to foreign nations.

Hey, maybe the dems and MSM will start focusing on Trump being corrupt now.

Maybe start asking what Trump is getting for moving the embassy to Jerusalem, or to support the violation of International law in the occupation of the Golan Heights, or why we are still supporting the war in Yemen.

Funny thing. Less than 50% of people thought the Russia story was important, but 70% don't trust Trump.

Maybe, just maybe, the line of attack on Trump should be that he is corrupt, not a Russian agent.

But then on the flip side, all the time and resources he spent dealing with this obfuscating fuckery was less time he could get actual work done. Which was its intent all along.

It seems to me like the brain child of a corporate board room, where they were trying to accomplish 10 things with 1 action, which is why it failed.

Undermine Trump, distract him, a scarecrow for increased defense spending, a reason to sanction Enemy Russian oligarchs, for all I know the Russia narrative was meant to hurt bernie, in running a tough on Russia candidate against him.

Of course if I am right, perhaps it did succeed in a corporate way. If you have 10 goals, and succeed in 2, you still succeeded right?
