He's been in three titanic struggles in a row now. Each one a fight of the year candidate. It's time for a bit of a break for the kid. Either that or he's going to have a very short UFC career. And, I think, he's too valuable an asset to burn out so quickly by putting him into another war right away. Let him get a couple of wins over moderate opposition then match him up with another contender later on this year.

There are no easy fights at 155, check the top 15 & see that they're all killers.

You're right.

That being said he should matchup with the loser of Lee/Barboza

no such thing if you consider yourself a top 155'er

You must not have watched his previous fights, every fight he's been in has been a titanic struggle. I agree though he needs a couple of tune up fights, get him some UFC highlight reel footage and then give him another crack at the top 10

modern day Leben with leg kicks

They shouldn't sanction his fights anymore unless it's outside of top 10 opponents. He will be used in 5 years as a case to shut down MMA due to brain damage

I'm thinking guys like Nik Lentz, Francisco Trinaldo, maybe a Charles Olivera. Someone that he could meet on an undercard.

It's a shame Nate has priced himself out of fighting, he'd be a good match up for Gaethje. Exciting fighter, likes to stand but doesn't have ko power, big name but still a winnable fight. Would be ideal to get him back on track imo.

Plus, it'd most likely be an awesome fight.

I say Paul Felder or James Vick, both can be KOed and would make good fights.

Gaethe Nate. With Nate iron chin an cardio ........ yet pillow fists would make for a,crazy great fight. Nate couldn't hurt Gaethe an Gather would land bombs with Nate looking like zombie. Make that fight

Yeah, he even had a 5-round war with post-UFC, past-his-prime Melvin Guillard.
