lol, you can still see a bunch of Russians posting on Tony's posts, they don't even bother to troll in broken english so Khabib opponents can at least understand them.

I don't think people realize the tribalism. They can't see it. It's really bad. Some of these people would die for khabib and they haven't met him! Khabib could do no wrong in their eyes. They back every thing khabib does even if it's flat out wrong. It's fucking weird shit.

It's worse for combat sports because it's a violent sport so the fans just feel like they can say anything and get away with it. They talk shit and then say khabib will kick their ass. I'll never go on social media and talk shit to a fighter.

I mean best example would be the guy in the thread asking what is so bad about tribalism, not like it is the root for most conflicts in the world.

I don't get it either, maybe it is because I did have a big mouth as a little boy and early teens and got my ass beat for it by multiple people that I know better, but a lot of these people didn't get their ass beat.

Wrong is wrong. To be honest, I think khabib is sick of his rabid fanbase too. I think he's sick of the worship he gets and wish he could be lesser known. You'd think Conor's fanbase would be worse considering conor's own antics, but I've seen fans even super fans denounce his behavior. Khabib has good behavior(for the most part) and his fans do the opposite of conor fans. They'll threaten anyone over something so trivial. I don't want conor vs khabib 2 to happen. I think its going to bring out the toxicity in fans.

Yeah Khabib probably would not like it, especially given his upbringing. That is what I am alluding to, a lot of people who have power fantasies, see Khabib and live their dream through him, although their dream and Khabib ones are probably miles apart.
It is mostly angry young men who feel alone, can't blame them for that, can blame them for being dickheads all over the internet tho.

Of course not all of them, but nobody can any longer deny that a big part of his fanbase are new "fans" who exclusively started following mma because of a muslim champ and who root only for muslim fighters, thus, being retarded tribal fanboys (the "fans", not the fighters) who I personally rate as bad as I do with people who support only people of the same color, thus, racists, or nationalists, etc..

they are disrespectful, offensive and aggressive towards every fighter not being muslim and are absolutely ridiculous when it comes to the delusional love they give those fighters who fit their standard.
