Gable Stevenson has signed multi year contract with WWE

The heavyweight Olympic freestyle gold medalist signed a multi year deal with the WWE.

It was only a matter of time and his brother was signed recently. This is one of best signings any wrestling promotion could have got.

It sounds good so far they are letting finish his senior year at University of Minnesota and defend the division 1 championship.

They are sending people there to give him pro wrestling tips with some training and when he graduates he will go to the training center.

Whether fans want to accept them or not, WWE is making intelligent moves for themselves and their future. But I could see why WWE has gained detractors, it's as plain as day and nobody left denying it isn't a trashfire. But it has its high points. Steveson is the type of seed getting planted that will yield many years of memories, and his real life accomplishments with only further cement the bigger than life aspect of the WWE. I can't wait until they debut him, it should be a good time.

I have said it before the recent signings in WWE look like 90’s wrestlers in that they clearly spend time in the gym.

AEW can sign people like Joey Janela that look like they spend more time on the couch eating chips while WWE signs people with athletic backgrounds that have a muscular physique. Which means in the future people will take WWE more seriously
