FX's FARGO Discussion Thread

Rye and Bear both got killed because of UFO appearances. Aliens apparently don't like Gerharts

Calling it now, the Kansas City guys paid off the aliens to fuck with the Gerhardt's. Those KC folk know how to get shit done, bribing aliens to get their UFOs to fuck with the enemies.

Can you explain?

I was just being silly. Peggy described herself as 'Realized' in the latest episode.

One of my favorite lines from last episode was Peggy, not impressed with the UFO, saying, "It's just a flying saucer(?), Ed. We gotta go."

I knew you nerds would be focused on the UFO.

I hope they DON'T explain it whatsoever to send y'all into a frenzy.

This show is so damn good they could randomly slip Barney the Purple Dinosaur into an episode and I wouldn't care.

But it would be less great as a result.

Loved the episode, didn't love the UFO. I had really hoped they wouldn't go there.

"It's just a flying saucer, Ed" is probably my favorite line of dialogue this season.

This show is so good

I think the episode could have done with less hand holding narration. And less alien screen time, like the equivalent the alien got in episode 1.

Otherwise, it was great watching all the dumb cops get blasted away. Should have listened to Lou.

I'm also looking forward to some 19th century Fargo.

What night of the week does this air?

Monday at 10:00 eastern time. This Monday is the finale.

Thanks bud. I watched the 1st season a few weeks ago, and now I'm almost caught up on season 2, just have a few episodes left. Should be ready by monday.

Hopefully none of the spoilers in the thread ruined it for you. I hate hearing/knowing what happens in a good show and this is really a good show. It's the best show on tv since Breaking Bad IMO I know you're a big fan of GOT but I've yet to watch that.

No worries, I ain't looking through this thread until I'm caught up. ;-)

And yeah, get on GoT once Fargo runs out, if you are looking for something great. GoT is the shit.

Will do....eventually. I know a few spoilers because of Sherdog so idk how great it will be.

Side note: Dunst deserves a Emmy for how great she's done in this season. She by far has had the best performance IMO

Her and Woodbine (Mike Milligan) have done the best with their roles.

That said, there almost isn't a single bad acting job in the entire bunch. I can't remember the last time I thought that about an entire season and cast of a show.

Also, lol @ the Aliens showing up again. I like the randomness in that for some reason. I hope there is no further explanation of it, just leave it as is lmao

This. And their really is no explaination to even give. Certainly not one that would suffice for Internet critics.

To me it's a well done troll, and I hope it stays like that.

More Alien invasions will put a damper on the finale.

Agreed. And when Lou said something in season 1 like "There was a case in 1979, I'd tell you the details but it would sound like I'm making it up"

This show is too awesome

There was a bumper sticker on the wall at the gas station above the key rack with a flying saucer and the words "we are not alone" on it

Can anyone tell me what Hanzee said when getting the haircut, right after Peggy said professional, you say?

Thanks in advance.

I'm not necessarily asking for more, just saying an explaination isn't necessary for me. I'd actually prefer no more and leave it as is. Just accentuated how fucking crazy that whole scene was.

Listen to Peggy. It's just a UFO, now move along.

I am surprised there has been no alluding to Malvo. In season one, the dialogue between Lou and Malvo at the diner had a vibe that Malvo was somehow involved in the 1979 happenings. That was only a could have been.
