FX's FARGO Discussion Thread

I actually think this season is better than season 1. I still think you should watch Fargo the movie and season 1 first though.

Just a bit worried about where theyre going with the UFO stuff. I hope it doesnt turn into a big thing. There was a lot of UFO reports in the area around that area in the real world 1979, so I think it might just be a nod to "actual" events. (I mean the reports being actual, not that people really saw flying saucers)

I like how the movie and series are all connected, and they've created this little Fargo universe.

The UFO stuff is a bit of a shake up this season. I'm not sure where they're heading with that stuff.

That was a damn intense 60 minutes.

Nick Offerman is awesome.

I love how the butcher and his wife are like walking death. The Indian guy is fucked.

There's not been a miss all season, the gunfight in the woods was the only slightly odd part, every other moment or scene has been top shelf. Now I wonder what happened to Dodd and his man that was hit with the sink.

Finally Offerman got more screen time. This guy is becoming a legend imo

I couldn't stop laughing when I realized Peggy had brained Dodd's mook with a freaking kitchen sink. :icon_lol:

And the look on Dodd's face after he shot his own guy? Priceless. :icon_chee

But I have to wonder, would betting tasered with a cattle prod for that long be fatal?

Awesome episode. Offerman was great. Peggy taking out Dodd and his crew single handed was priceless.

Dodd fucked up royally. Shooting his own man and then getting outsmarted and taken down by a girl who is addicted to self help and beauty magazines.

Also, fucking Jabberwocky? Awesome!!

"Jabberwocky"

'Twas brillig, and the slithy toves
Did gyre and gimble in the wabe;
All mimsy were the borogoves,
And the mome raths outgrabe.

"Beware the Jabberwock, my son!
The jaws that bite, the claws that catch!
Beware the Jubjub bird, and shun
The frumious Bandersnatch!"

He took his vorpal sword in hand:
Long time the manxome foe he sought—
So rested he by the Tumtum tree,
And stood awhile in thought.

And as in uffish thought he stood,
The Jabberwock, with eyes of flame,
Came whiffling through the tulgey wood,
And burbled as it came!

One, two! One, two! and through and through
The vorpal blade went snicker-snack!
He left it dead, and with its head
He went galumphing back.

"And hast thou slain the Jabberwock?
Come to my arms, my beamish boy!
O frabjous day! Callooh! Callay!"
He chortled in his joy.

'Twas brillig, and the slithy toves
Did gyre and gimble in the wabe;
All mimsy were the borogoves,
And the mome raths outgrabe.

Just caught up on the last 2 episodes. This show started with a ton of momentum and hasn't lost it yet. I found myself rooting for Peggy when she was in the basement, which was a first for me.

So this is just a hypothetical but whats the likelyhood that Fatt Damon gets approached by one of the warring factions to take out the other and his wife titties mcgee convinces him to do it?

I could see next episode fat damon start to get talked up quite a bit especially if the Indian can't finish the job.

It would truly be Fargo esq'

Nah, he's just a citizen who has the angel of death on his side.

His legend will grow within the Gherhart clan, and they'll probably continue to send men to their doom trying to kill him, but he won't be joining either side.

Fuck that last episode was brilliant.

There's never been another show that has delivered the way this one has for each and every single episode.

This is one of the best seasons of television ever.

Outstanding episode. Even if the police precinct shootout didn't happen, lots of incredible scenes and highlights.

Lol'd at the part when Hank asked Peggy if she was touched, which is kinda true.

Immediately knew that the Kansas city boys would go to the Gerhardt base when that stupid daughter called Mike. Dodd shares some of the blame also for the way he treats his daughter.

White (C)arl Weathers was terrific here.

This season keeps getting better and better. Carl Weathers stole the show this episode. Hilarious and awesome at the same time

I rarely buy seasons of tv shows, but this is one I will keep on blu-ray. The show does tension like few other shows or films. It's surpassed Better Caul Saul for the year (due to BCS having a couple off episodes like the last one), and is up there with the greatest tv show seasons of all time I think. I just hope they nail the ending.

Just started season 1. 3 episodes in. Liking it a lot so far.

Same. Really dislike Peggy but found myself rooting for her against Dodd.

So I guess I'm okay with Peggy getting arrested, just not killed by the Gerhardts.

Fatt Damon is acting a bit Peggy-like in the last episode.

Do the Kansas City boys even know about the Blomquists? Mike Milligan and the Kitchen Brothers (you have to say the whole thing, you just have to) got as far as snooping around the Waffle House, but never did figure out what happened to Rye.

And even if Simone passed along the story Dodd cooked up, they of all people would know it was all bullshit.
