Fury's really not handling the loss well

Given all the talks he gave about drinking, drugs, depression and suicidal tendancies it's not looking good ...
He's diagnosed bipolar like me. It makes keeping off the nasty aspects of life more difficult than the average.

Arguably the massive heights make the trenches that much deeper as well.

I don't believe that for a second. But I do believe that it was reported by a credible source. But I think he himself is full of shit. I think the rematch happens because he will make a boat load more of cash. Unless there is shady business usyk wins again and fury retires and it's back to the pub with him.

I'm only hoping that beterbiev can beat bivol and uysk drops back to cw and they can face off as pros. It's a massive stretch that can happen but people have talked about it before.
That's why I said allegedly. Who really knows. The rematch may still happen but he might come in terrible shape or look okay physically but be somewhere else mentally.

hopefully its a one off.

imagine how much alcohol a 300 pound 6'9 guy must have had to be so shitfaced like that.
I was thinking about that earlier. At his body weight and likely already having a decent tolerance for alcohol he'd have to drink an ungodly amount of it. Hard liquor most likely.

who would have thought someone like Fury would deny that he lost the fight, and then go on a bender when he found out he actually lost and nobody thought he won

he has all but told his father to stay away form any media and started getting pissed

i dont think anyone in the world thought Fury would take a loss well considering his massive ego, and lets not forget he got beat by a "middleweight" as well

couldnt be happening to a nicer bloke

Hate to kick a man when he's down.
this, honestly.

fury's shenanigans have made me less of a fan of his, but considering his mental struggles in the past and the fact that he's obviously been trying hard to stay off liqour and drugs... i kind of feel sorry for him.

maybe it isn't a big deal and he'll be alright. i do feel like there's a good chance he's struggling though.

I don't think it's a big deal he got obliterated drunk. He's a grown adult and he's not in camp let him live a little.

show me another top world class fighter slumped on the floor in a drunken mess kissing a lampost

the guy is a car crash waiting to happen

the only other top fighter i can think of the really fell off the rails like that is Ricky Hatton, and by chance he has managed to turn his life around it seems

Plenty of high level boxers found themselves in rehab or in trouble due to drinking. You can find pictures but not a ton of video like we see today. It's almost like people have to see it on video to believe it actually took place.

You've never see the OLDH lingerie photos. You think he was sober?

You think Chavez sat at home training for his next fight every night? Broner? Pavlik? Mayorga? Gatti? Leon Spinks? Kovalev got drunk and beat the hell out of a women. Same with Jermain Taylor. Camacho? Rosario? Even Pacquiao had a stint of drinking the nearly derailed his career. That's a pretty talented list of fighters who drank a lot and they did it IN camp. Fury wasn't in camp.

The list is longer than the one I made above, but the difference is in this day and age a lot of it is caught on camera and people like Benavidez have to go on social media and apologize for giving a drunk interview?

i dont think a single one of those fighters have anywhere near the profile of Tyson Fury

We all got issues
correct, but not all of us are in the spotlight earning tens of millions of pounds and claiming to be the best fighter who ever lived and other outlandish shit

How many of those guys have such a well-established history of drugs & alcohol use combined with mental illness? While Fury isn't in camp yet he did just activate a rematch clause ahead of a 9 figure fight. The stakes are as high as they get. Maybe it was a one-off but based on Fury's recent history, probably not. It's starting to look like he's spiraling out of control again.
