You can still get clicks without sensationalizing a story. This isn't normal behavior for any high level athlete. Especially ones that have had issues with drugs & alcohol in the past. Maybe it is for the bin men in Britain. They're in a different category and aren't competing for generational wealth. You have to be able to perform to win.

The Sun broke the news. They're the ones that were sold the footage. It's your interpretation that this isn't much of an issue. I've already explained why it is or at least it could be. If this was just a one-off and Fury never had alcohol & substance abuse issues then it's not that newsworthy. Except that last part we know isn't the case.

This just broke the other day and now Fury is seen in a gym hitting the bag. Convenient don't you think? This is exactly what a PR team would advise their fighter to do after such embarrassing video footage of him leaks to the public. It's classic damage control. If this wasn't such a big deal, and being this shitfaced is as normal as you claim, then they wouldn't have even bothered to do it.

Yes, Fury had been quiet as a mouse up until the other day when the footage was released. A couple days later he's acting like it never even happened in the gym hitting the bag claiming he can't wait for the rematch lol. That's a complete 180 and the timing is too convenient. Whether Fury is doing the damage control himself or his team has advised him doesn't really matter. It is textbook damage control.

We've seen many athletes lose endorsements over lots of different types of bad press. Fury has a ton of sponsors like WOW Hydrate and his own line of energy drinks. If he does something that's a bad look for him then it also reflects on them.

It seems that he can't handle decisive outcomes in high profile bouts. When he beat Wlad he was in a very dark place just days after recording the biggest win of his career.
